  • i like this one better than the remake,

  • this song use to mean so much to me..

  • 2:51 <3

  • I love Muse, and I love the original Saint Saens aria. The integration of the aria into the song is great. The only thing that bothers me, and literally I cringe, is WHY can't he be bothered to pronounce the French right? REEE-pawnds? Sacre bleu! Seriously, the language is even more sensual when you actually say it right. It would have taken this song from cool to an absolute epic ballad along the lines of the greatest pseudo-operatic arrangements by Floyd and Queen.

  • holy jesus this song is sexy I-I just...I gotta go

  • I already love the song, but just found this version. I Love the French. It's so pretty!

  • How much pain has cracked ur soul?how much love would make u whole?u're my guiding lightning strike....*

  • @bellethieldaugon muse fez uma música pro crepusculo 'love is forever' eles não vão faser uma musica anti-crepusculo porque se é pra eles ficarem famosos... ¬¬ você é muito burro mesmo

  • .... I wanna see Muse make an anti-Twilight song like My Chemical Romance did (Vampire Money). .___. I'm sure they're tired of Stephanie Meyer rapeing their music.

.... This song has something more to do with 1984 anyway, this whole album does. This song is for Winston and Julia, not Bella and Edward.

  • damn... here I thought I finally found the guy who owned muse... only to read the description...

:) thanks for posting this. It makes a lot of people easier to deal with.

  • No, this new album is garbage.

  • @Dysfunctional126 Actually, all of their albums are amazing. I hate people who reserve their music tastes to 1 or 2 genres.

  • oh my FUCKING GOD THIS IS AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAZIIIIIIIIING!!!!!

  • s'apre per te il mio cor...

  • This song is just epic... in fact, more than epic... what's a word to describe more than epic??? x

  • this song is literally sexually attractive...

  • I wish Muse would stop trying to seduce me with their music.

  • Why is the french title 'My Heart Opens to Your Voice' ?

  • @NinaBish2010 It's an aria called Mon coeur s'ouvre a ta voix from the opera Samson et Dalila :)

  • @8Goldie ohh thanks :)

  • @NinaBish2010 type on "Réponds à ma tendresse english translation " then go on the first wikipedia page and it will answer your question. Trust me

  • Definitely my favourite Muse song.

  • @savedandsound i love it! and i am a leo... so rawr

  • @sportnenny Tee-hee! I could thrash you around with my two fish-tails, but somehow I don't think that would be too effective--you win!

  • @SavedandSound all muse people (musettes) amuse me--we're just a nice bunch of people

  • @sportnenny True dat (:

  • if anyone is wondering the french lyrics it is Ah! Answer my love, Pour me, pour me drunkenness, Answer my love, Answer my love, Ah! Pour me drunkenness, Pour me, pour me drunkenness, Answer my love, Answer my love, Ah! Pour me drunkenness, I belong, I belong to you alone
  • i wish i was european so that i could make fun of all the stupid americans... but i don't, so i can't... sigh...

  • @sportnenny i wish i was european... oh wait! i am >:D

  • @sportnenny I'd attack you like a Leo for that comment, but I'm a Pisces...so, yeah.

  • when french Pop mixes with progressive rock/classic fusion, this is what you get...

  • <3

  • Of course he'd do a song in the language everybody calls the language of love. Does he really need something else that will attract women to him?

  • @WeAreCDK Non, mon amie.

  • @SavedandSound y'see? Look, just reading french made me jizz in my pants. Matthew Bellamy has an unfair advantage, you hear me? An UNFAIR ADVANTAGE.

  • @WeAreCDK Mais oui!!! ;D

  • My gosh, when are you going to sing like that?? :)

  • I just realized... it would be REALLY fucking awesome if I did indeed own Muse. Ah... One can dream, though. One can dream.

  • :)

  • Who likes Bellamy speaking french?

  • @SweetShop69 I LOVE Bellamy speaking, period!

  • @SweetShop69 YES :D

  • we pond!!! tomato dressing!!! :D

  • People saw Twilight because of this song ;)

  • Twilight doesnt ruin Muse, people who SAY Twilight Ruins Muse, really Ruins Muse. Actually Muse is unruinable.

  • @antisadism AGREED!!!

  • @antisadism So entirely true.

  • @antisadism I guess they mean it in a different way, like if you're watching a sunset and suddenly a plane flies through the sky, loud as hell, leaking diesel fumes, and it kinda ruins the moment. The sunset is still beautiful and nothing can ruin that, but you're still a little pissed and left with a minor headache.

  • @antisadism ya i like both but hate it when people bitch at me even though i loved muse way before? hahah i let them exist seperately, seldom mixing them together!

  • @antisadism mi hermano tienes toda la razón

  • I wondered why he said "half the world" instead of the whole world...then I realised that would be pointless XD

  • When Twilight and The Grammy's made Muse popular (I was a fan before twilight) it made me sad because the radio will ruin their songs, but in a way, I am happy for Muse. Can't wait for their new album!

    4:28 just blows my mind

  • @poptart2345 You do realize that they were HUGE before those 2 stated events? Maybe not so much in the US, but in Europe they were playing stadium/festival concerts as big as 90,000 people.

  • twilight is so gay, how is that entertaining? muse is the best

  • superbe album ..................

  • Hello Twilighter Users....

  • muse ♥ i like it !

  • @departed94 You can't ruin this song!

  • @F0STER91 You are a true Muser.

  • awesome song :)

  • bass clarinet solo is fucking legit. ahh so jazzy

  • The Resistance actually my favourite Muse album, regardless of what most people say...

  • I love som one From my class and her name is amalie

  • @LetzPlayThatGamez That's great for you, but what good is that to the rest of the world?

  • Muse did take a new direction in the Resistance album, In my opinion it sounds fine. (It's all still Muse after all) If you don't like it then fine. I hear that thier next album will be metal centered, and I hope that will be the case. (My username tells the whole story.)

  • Just have to say, when people are bitching that people say, they went in a new direction, I think you're missing the point. I understand that muse is taking a new direction, problem is, I'm not a big fan of the new direction , that's all, and uprising, without question rips off billy idol's white wedding, almost note for note, and takes the riff from call me, I love muse, and know they haven't done this before, but seriously, there is no way they didn't know.

  • @CTE2462 I sometimes "Rip off songs" without realising, and it can sound almost exactly the same as another song and I wouldn't realise, because it would be a sub conscious thing, maybe something heard a lot when I was a child and forgot, so you can't be sure all the time, now stop acting all high and mighty, because it's fucking annoying, you just seem like a little bitch.

  • THE RESISTANCE IS MY FAVOURITE MUSE ALBUM!! I have all 5 of them but i gotta say this one just does it for me, my fav songs on here are United States Of Eurasia, Uprising & this one 5 STARS

  • I'm really sick of people giving the Resistance shit compared to the first four, more than perfect albums. Yeah they went a new direction but people ought to be fucking glad that they exist and influenced their lives in the first place.

  • @nachoblaha2008

I love Muse but you have to admit the Resistance wasn't amazing.

  • @letsbeamazeing The resistance was a solid album, only 2 songs disappointed me, and that is undisclosed desires and guiding light. Everything else was really great. And this song is amazing. It's ok for people to have their opinions, but what a lot of people don't realize is that this album is very brilliant music wise. But their older, more menacing sounding songs like megalomania, dark shines, screenager still smash the top of my list. That and songs like motp, butterflies, etc

  • @letsbeamazeing I disagree - I think The Resistance is a very clever album indeed. But we all have our own tastes and opinions! :)

  • firs time 4 me to listen to muse , kinda like it

  • 5 people, 5 bullets

  • i should outta smack somone to the dephs of hades for disliking this..

  • Matt Bellamy, my heart opens to your voice. I Love Muse!

  • I love how they included Mon Coeur and Nocturne, two fantastic classical pieces, in this album! Bellamy's too good.

  • Camille St-Saens is brilliant yeah...

  • Vive la Resistance!!!!

  • the first time muse used muse in lyrics

  • Strong Queen and Freddie Mercury influence in this group. Brilliant!

  • The song does good to put the music of Camille into the fine favor of the general populace. It's only a shame that it now needs Muse as an excuse to even be played. But, again, happy it's been popularized.

  • His voice!!! MMMMM!!!! <3333333333

  • If Matt Bellamy ever starts a cult I want to be first to drink the KoolAid

  • 4 people's hearts don't open to the sound of Matt Bellamy's voice.

  • 0:22 *pop* XD XD

  • This song is wonderful.

  • Matt french waz the best!!!!!

  • This song makes my ears feel needed....

  • J'aime Muse!!!!

  • @b0rris1979 Moi ossi!

  • @b0rris1979 Tellement! (Traduction: Oh yeah!)

  • The "pop" at 0:22 makes me smile everytime, because of the making of. :)

And Matt's french is... Well.. Funny... :D

  • Mon Cœur S'ouvre À Ta Voix Matt :)

    <3 MUSE 4 Ever!!!

  • I love this song, but I'm French and I can tell you that Matt doesn't sing with the correct prononciation at all xD

Never mind, it's great that Matt sings in my native language =)

  • This is so cool! Does Matt speak French then?

  • @Mileyrosebloom Haha nah, he doesn't even pronounce the words properly in this song. It's still a great track though. 8D

  • @Aokihou Oh haha!! I thought it sounded a bit weird. xD I wonder why he didn't ask how to pronounce the words properly?!

  • the bass clarinet is amazing

  • THIS IS SORCERY!

  • OMG. AMAZING. I LOVE that Sampson and Delilah opera song. It's only the best Opera song EVER. It's gorgeous. I can't believe Muse inserted their own version...Simply amazing.

  • "how much pain has quenched your soul?

and how much love will make you whole?"

    that's real.

  • beau travail, MUSE

  • is that french at the end???

  • @VargVikernes35 yuup

  • @VargVikernes35 Yeeeeees ;)

  • Muse pwns the music industry

  • I totally agree! The Twilight shits ruined this beautiful song!!!!

  • @departed94 Lol, don't be a tool, a movie can't ruin the beauty of a song... if it sounds good, it sounds good, regardless of any affiliations with bad movies.

  • @departed94 if you think the twilight shit ruined the song, then you cant be much of a Muse fan. the song is outstandingly beautiful whether it is in a shit movie/series or not!

  • @departed94 Muse ruined themselves.

  • @godistv Bosh!

  • @godistv aww...come on. you know you wanna! just admit it!! you know it's impossible to hold in...you gotta admit that you can't resist NOT saying that "WHOO" at the beginning..no? awww man

  • I love this song. It's so beautiful, and classy. But i don't think the New Moon is worse. They're different, and good in their own ways. This is pretty and classy, and one-of-a-kind, and the New Moon version, has more rock to it, and therefore different. But not bad, i think.

  • THe piano pwns in this

  • The Bass Clarinet solo is a nice addition.

  • my heart opens at your voice?

    *reading the french title*

  • @MissDedodakes yes dear, you can read french.......congratulations

  • @ErinKirrilly I meant the french part of the title confused me for a sec /rolls eyes

  • @MissDedodakes I roll my eyes back at you for not understanding sarcasm

  • "Mon Cœur S'ouvre À Ta Voix" is an aria from the opera Samson & Delilah, which translates literally to "my heart opens itself to your voice".

    Ah! réponds à ma tendresse!

    Verse-moi, verse-moi l'ivresse!

is repeated twice, which translates to:

    Ah! respond to my tenderness!

    Fill me with ecstasy!

  • My heart opens to your voice!

  • I really like the french part! though, i cant understand it very well =P

  • @emusic255 I'm french and I can't understand it either -___-

  • i love this song!!! its funky and i love the musical arrangements like the piano, drums & bass its weird but it just works!

  • i love this song!!! its funky and i love the musical arrangements like the piano, drums & bass its weird but it just works!

  • there mysterious music style is why they're muse!!

  • Whenever I hear this song, I feel like wearing a french beret and walking cool down the champse l'ysee in Paris, France.

  • Matt's voice... inexplicably... captures my heart. And makes me feel all floaty...

  • damn straight you don't own muse xD

  • "And she attacks me like a Leo

When my heart is split like Rio..."

AUGH....That part and that part only kept getting stuck in my head every time I saw my friend Leo xD

  • I love Matt's little woo in the beginning :)

  • yeah i like that too!

  • @PolarityArt yaa ive seen the vid its rly funy.. sheep r running around in the backround xD

  • I love this song -I can`t stop hearing it:D

It reminds me of a guy which I like a lot <3

  • Doesn't matter that "I Belong to you" sounds like Queen or another groups !!!

We like Muse or not, that's all !!

    I love Muse. Ahaha

  • Pretty much... but still =P

    That's the exact translation hehe

  • My Heart Opens To Your Voice, not "upon hearing" lol Just sayin =)

  • Yeh, ok, it reminds you of Queen.

    But who cares?! :D

    Stop trolling, enjoy the music!

  • i dont think about what i like i just remembered the old albums and i guess they are going to become a mainstream-group with all these syntheziser stuff...

    in MY opinion

  • The middle section "mon coeur s'ouvre a ta voix" is the popular mezzo aria from Saint-saens' "Samson et Delilia." It's an opera based on the biblical story. Muse has a lot of classical influence throughout their repertoire. This whole song is a brilliant blend that shows the bands true love and respect for all wide variety of music. It's really quite extrordinarily put together.

  • no it doesn´t... you know nothing about Queen, it sounds like a Saint-Saens aria (and i know that, not because i copy what another person says because it´s the mainstream opinion, but because i actually own a CD with this opera)

you may or may not like this song, that´s another thing. but stop making absurd comparations.

  • "stop making absurd comparations".... "it sounds like a Saint-Saens aria" LOL

  • marron 5 LOL

  • Ok a Typo. I suppose you never commit a mistake GENIUS.

  • @Deus7Le7Volt7 LMAO

  • remember Absolution? that was muse....

  • @ezayj remember Showbiz ? Origin of Symmetry and Black Holes and Revelations ?? that was Muse too !!! :D isn't that awesome ?

  • @Deus7Le7Volt7 You song Like Marron 5 or some thing like that.

    POUHAHAHAHA

  • is the second part of the title french? anways muse is epic! wohoo!

  • half of the song is in french

  • YAY I FOUND IT!! OH MY GOD THANK YOU SO MUCH! I would have been sad if I didn't find it D:

  • yeah man taht allllllllll xD!!!!! i like museeeeeeeee xdddd!!!!!!!!!!!!!! very very very much =P im crazy for the group jajajaja que mamon =P

  • this is a beautiful song ... it's perfect !

  • I love how they stealthily slip their name in there by inserting a french song in between Mu- and -us.

Is this the only time they use the word "muse" in a song? I've been combing through all of their other music, and haven't found it in any other song yet.
