The music is not in time with vid, but thats alright ,I used to have this album :it still rocks. you are the music we're just the band is still my fav..........
As I understand it, the flv format that YouTube uses separates the audio and video tracks. And then YouTube's compression helps them to get out of sync over time. I'm going to repost all of these videos eventually. But then I lose all the great comments.
Love that good ol' Trapeze music. These were the rehearsals where the Tricks band was learning lots of cool songs. Some of the more difficult challenges were Pat Travers' "Makin' Magic", Michael Schenker's "Feels Like A Good Thing", Be Bop Deluxe's "Blazing Apostles", 38 Special's "Rough-Housin'", and Skynyrd's "You Got That Right". Fun stuff!!
Not bad but nowhere near as good as the real thing. If you want to see Mel Galley play Black Cloud for the first time in 13 years visit his official myspace page.
I am also looking for Trapeze videos if available, particularly "Black Cloud", "Jury", and "Seaful". These songs are relatively obscure, but they were some of my favorites in the '70's. I also listened to their tunes on my 8-track player.
Where can I found vids for Trapeze, the band. They rocked really good. I saw them in a documentary in 1973. Bought their album, I am old and nostalgic! Classic rock is the thing!
We were just learning this song, so there are a few little "oops" moments. That's when you see us smiling at each other. It got a lot better later, but this is the only video. Our goal was to do it "note for note" with the original. This video is from 1981. Dale Boysen is the singer, and it was Dale who turned us all onto Trapeze music. We also used to do some Pat Travers and Michael Schenker. Cool old "timeless" guitar rock.
Great rock and roll is timeless, ageless. you guys channel Trapeze amazingly well. who turned you on to a 35 year old record?? props to the drummer, i'm a guitarist and you guys nail it. sweet.
Trapeze was a great band from the early 70's that Dale turned us onto. Glenn Hughes was the singer and bassist who went on to join Deep Purple. Mel Galley was the guitarist, and he went on to be in Whitesnake.
Sorry this is out of sync thanks to YouTube compression. I'll repost it some day.
