@GrindMasterElite It's called "Poker Face" and it's a copyright-free tune I bought from Audio Network. If you want it, I can upload it and send you the link.
@Godzilla5alien I have a couple of rolls of very thick aluminum wires, that I use for the spine (and legs on heavy puppets). I bought those from a florist, who use the aluminum wire for decorations. Thinner wires were bought at an art supply, the sculpting section. Just ask around locally or do a web search. I can highly recommend that you choose aluminum wire over any other kind of metal wire for puppet making.
Are you a perfectionist? You work so hard on making your models look good. You work on every single detail and produce incredible results. You're a master at everything. Lighting, models, animation, design, detail. I really take my hat off to you.
Thanks! I can only work one way and that is by doing my best. I've been at this for quite a while and I've become good at working with certain materials. I really appreciate your comment!
This is excellent work. I always pictured the hands and legs to be a little bit broader and more humanoid, but I guess the nails would be more claw like as you show here. Either way, really well crafted, and I liked the way you animated him in the movie as well. Did you do any preliminary designs on paper first? As it is a step-by-step process I would have assumed to have seen such things.
Thank you! I actually didn't do any design sketches of Brown Jenkin. I just started sculpting, as I often do. I had a fairly clear vision in my head of what I wanted him to look like.
I always find the more steps the better, but that's my own tendency to change everything a dozen times. For me things get changed a few times during sketches and then a few more times in the finishing stages, invariably ending up exactly where I started. I think this kind of indecisive time wasting is an unavoidable part of the creative process for me, haha.
the puppet is amazing, thanks for the behind the scenes look. I am amazed that you got so much expression from the face with the simple wires in the face. Great job.
Thanks! The simple wire in the middle of the face was a lazy solution, but it worked for this short film. Had I done something longer I would've articulated the rest of the face.
Can you tell me which song is this please!

I just amazed ever time I see one of your puppets. They are so life like. You obviously put a lot of care and detail into each one. Well done!

Thanks! I put a lot of thinking and pondering into each puppet before I start to build it, and also between stages of building.

Heh! Thanks! We all work differently and are at different stages of developing. Each project requires its own approach and we create accordingly.
