  • My favorite side long from Mike.

  • @sonicdeath10 : Me too ;-).

  • simon pillips ..es para mi el mejor bateria del mundo

  • @purrusco y para todos los baterias del mundo tambien.

  • I saw this concert in Strasbourg in 1984, one of the best in my life! Simon Philips is one of the best drummer in the world. Absolutely fabulous!!!

  • J'ai vu ce concert en 1984. L'un des meilleurs de ma vie. Simon Philips à la batterie, absolument génial!!!

  • KE MERAVIGLIA EMOZIONI BELLISSIME,CIAO MORRIS UN ABBRACCIO.DAVIDE

  • MT to me is one of his most beautiful shorter pieces

  • I think the best version of Teide I've heard is on The Complete Mike Oldfield. A live version with what sounds like 4 guitar tracks going and Tim Cross on keys.. Heartily recommend it to those who haven't heard it :)

  • Fabulous drumming!

  • QUE BARBARIDAD( EN EL BUEN SENTIDO)...ESE BATERIA ES EXCELENTE

MIRO EL VIDEO UNA Y OTRA VEZ Y NO PUEDO PARAR.,ES GENIAL

  • I saw this concert in Wembley the year before

  • @Dirtyukmale69 I know that he did a live performance in Wembley the year before and I have also heard some part of it. The audio quality was quite bad but it was certainly worth the money :)

  • Great performance!!!!!

  • Thanks! The lyrics: Crises, crises - you can't get away. Crises, crises - I need you on my side 'cause there's a crises. And you can't get away! ... Take a walk until the next dawn. In the winter, rain and storms. ... The watcher and the tower, waiting hour by hour. ... There's a breech in the security, a disturbance in tranquility... - I'm not sure what "crises" stands for? Maybe it's the place on the Moon called for just Crises?
  • @ultracox crisis refers to the falkland crises where england was at war with argentina. long time ago. your sound mix on this video is out of this world.

  • @desiglaveva

    I got it! watch above.

  • Utterly fantastic performance and a brilliiant down load

  • Wow, where did you get this? Brilliant.

Pierre is an excellent drummer. One of the best in the world (up there with Joey J.)

  • Not Pierre is drumming! It's Simon Phillips ;-)

  • I know Dude. As soon a I typed it I remembered. Jeez it's been 25 years since I read the LP notes.

    Thanks for the check though.

I was thinking of one of the Moerlen brothers.

Of course Simon was on sticks for this. His 'Crises' side 2 is legendary. Single take!

  • Yes, absolutely!

  • Mt Teide is so good is unreal.

  • Does anyone know where I can get a copy of this concert? I have the TB2 and TB3 concerts on DVD, but would love to see more Mike! Crises is excellent, especially the second half of the song.

  • Hi, you can get this from Google Video!

  • Thanks! I found it!

  • Thanks a lot again for posting this, my favourite Mike's album.

  • Mike Oldfields favourite episode of Fawlty Towers is the one with the Hotel Inspector, he loves it when Manuel pours milkin his briefcase.

  • Thanks! Esp. for Crisis-one of the most underestimated Mike's pieces of music.

    I love this track....

  • Thanks for sharing this great artist!5/5

  • Great !!!!
