I cried because this is the only man she has known as a father. He came into our lives when my two children were young. In her heart he was always her father. He never saw them as stepchildren and has never called them so. Our son was killed. My husband took his death very hard. He's has been so loving and devoted to them.

my dad.. yes to me there's no one who can compare. a good and honest man who loves me so much exactly as i am. i always hear from other ppl that when he sees me his face instantly lights up with such love and pride, and when he talks about me even about really mundane things he gets happy like a child. i have no doubt that parents' love is as unconditional and as absolute as human love gets. i think experiencing this kind of love has been the greatest blessing in my life.

This song was the Father Daughter Dance at my daughter's wedding. It's such a beautiful song. When my husband first heard it, he walked out of the his room words broken. I cried because this is the only man she has known as a father. He came into our lives when my two children were young. In her heart he was always her father. He never saw them as stepchildren and has never called them so. Our son was killed. My husband took his death very hard. He's has been so loving and devoted to them.

The first time i heard this song I cried so hard like I hadn't cried since I was a little kid all the memories of my father came to me (even the day when he died) and it made me miss him even more... I really wish I could had the chance to see him just one more time and hug him and tale him how much I still love him.

This has got to be the most beautiful song ever, my dad died a month ago and i listen to this song at least 7 times a week my goal is to get the point where I can listen to it and not be sad that he will never see me graduate college or get married and just think about the great moments we had together

I cant totally relate.....Great song! Just found out it was about fathers too, and i set goals where listen to a song about my dad till the point where i dont burst out in tears. I lost my dad April 18th this year and its been a hell of an experience....

I love this song, it reminds me of so much of how my grandpa was like my dad always sitting in his lap as we watched the dragon flies in the backyard and him teaching me to ride a bicycle, to a motorcycle. A very touching song with real meaning we need more songs like this now. ^^
