  • They didn't serve food that would leave a mark for Lao food. Maybe it was their particular village, I don't know... I kinda feel insulted at the fact that the "only" entree that he "ate and commented on" was the bitter swallows. Could of had better options to tantalize his palate I'm just irked by this....When he was asked "why come to Laos?", he didn't have much to say just magical, mystical? I don't think he was enjoying his trip. Well at least the Laow Lao is the bomb diggety though righ?

  • as a small not very known country as our neighboring countries, thank you very much mr.bourdain to have visted my country and it's people.

  • No thum muck hoong?

  • i would love to try laos food.

  • @concacinu There should be a Lao/Thai restaurant around depending on whichever country you're from.

  • @concacinu You would LOVE it! There's so many varieties and savory, spicy, rich flavors! Makes my taste buds water thinking about Lao food!

  • With all due respect to the great Lao culture and cuisine, Bourdain went to Laos because he had gone to so many other places already. After so many seasons of traveling the world and seeing the more well known countries (such as China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia), the show was and is running out of places to go. Laos was next on the list (8th or 9th in line in Asia). Of course, he couldn't say that to his gracious hosts.

  • @Doleafol how do you know that, did you talk to bourdain?

  • @Doleafol look at this hater ..

  • bon appetit
