Back when the song came out Cher was not much more than a vague memory to me, a relict of the sixties. By pure coincidence I bought "Cher", the album. "I Found Someone" didn't really touch me and then the second track came on, which was, in fact, this very song. And from that very second on on I was her number one fan.
