Guy's get off Riley's balls. I Shot JR is amazing. old shit and new. So before you go criticizing them go make a band a get a bigger fan base than them. These guys are fucking awesome. Ive met the whole band and they're really great guys. They're just making music because it's what they love. They're teenagers. Give them a break. It's amazing just the fact that they can put a band together and actually be good enough to have kids like me that go to their shows and know all their lyrics.

@JPEGjon For the actual recording we used an sm7b, which I'm sure you know has a very low output volume. Which makes perfect for recording screams and any vocals really. For the video I had this old mic laying around and it was the only thing that would look halfway decent in the video considering the sm7b isn't the most appealing looking thing. haha

I mean, don't get me wrong, I don't listen to this kind of music, and usually I tell people that there is ALWAYS going to be recycled bands, in any genre, so if they don't like it, don't listen to it. But normally I just wont listen to that genre all together, but hey that's just me :P
