  • This that a real book? Because I would read it.

  • @NightBeast12 yes it is. issue 1 premieres this weekend at the NJ comic expo.

  • He kinda looks like Superman and Captain Marvel Put together in the 40's. Did you do all the art your self? Its well drawn.

  • @ShadowManV3 Oh my bad i forgot to read that your dad drew it. He is good.

  • I love your dad's pencils.

  • This needs to be published. Artwork is amazing.

  • The art looks amazing.

  • wow. first costumes, now comics? your so full of surprises

  • Looks very good Blinky

  • My god, the artwork is stunning! This needs to happen.

  • Wow chris,I didn't think you were going to do anything new with the protector, looks good so far. Does this mean you're going to have online comic book stories as well as films on your site?

  • @Dunes i want to sell the book to a publisher.

  • @blinky500 Really? Wow,that'll be great to aim for as well. Good luck then chris,we your fans are rooting for you.

  • @Dunes thank you. hopefully ill make it.

  • @blinky500 if u do sell it to a publisher how much would it cost

  • i cant wait chris.this is gonna be BIG,i know it.what the comic industry needs is a good old school hero and the protector is it.keep me posted on the release date.

  • @flapjackdaddio thanks. ill be posting updates as they happen.

  • nice work Chris and gratz to your father, will this be an actually comic book or live action or both?

  • @SupremeScreamStudios hopefully both.

  • you made that?

  • @Kapfilms read the info box.

  • Nice Artwork.

  • The original Protector fan film I thought was good. Not one of my favorites, but still a good concept. Adapting it into a graphic novel has more promise.

Your dad's pencils are stunning. I personally think the artwork should remain black and white. It would capture the noir ambiance of the film itself.

    Release date?

  • @MrDCWood it never was a fan film. i created the character.

  • @blinky500

    Ah, sorry.

  • @MrDCWood as for a release date, first we need to find a publisher. after that, it would be at the publisher's discretion.

  • @blinky500

    Good luck, mate.

  • @MrDCWood thanks. i need it.

  • It looks awesome! "The Protector" vid. is also awesome, too!

  • ... Just call it "Superman". Nobody's gonna be fooled by that "P-Shield".

  • @VsxFedora just call it, "youre a moron with no grasp of context". i have stated on dozens of occasions that the protector is based on the superman archetype. the whole point is to show my take on how i view superman without having to be categorized as a yet another fan film.

  • YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY

  • The art is very good. Will you keep it black and white?

  • @Skeletoraids not sure. id like it in color. i guess it all depends on who we publish with

  • @blinky500 Alright! Sorry, if you felt offended. It wasnt meant to! I was just gonna tell how good I think you work, but I kindof lost myself.Keep on fighting with yer movies and good luck with the comics! Desides, I'm not American, I'm Swedish, and was kindof tired while writing the message. Actually, you are great in showing how to follow your dream. I'm making moviescripts, but they need a lot of time and actors to be done. But they will be before I die!

  • @RobinsTaste ah. my bad. well thanks dude.

  • Awesome

  • Nice artwork by your pops

  • Looks Intersting, love the artwork.

  • Looks awesome!

  • really? The protector?

  • @IsaacGolle got a problem?

  • I must have!

  • Amazing work Chris and father...The Protector is reminiscent of DC: Kingdom Come, A sort of look back to heroes past since gone by a modern time of cynicism and loose morals.

  • @MildManNerd more or less.

  • damn this is like Madworld meets Superman... I LIKE IT...

  • Is he a tragic character (more humane, weaknesses, etc.), or a "Nobody can stop me! (du Da du DAAA)" type?

  • @brucenatelee his strength is his weakness. because he is so powerful, he is technically immortal. he outlives all his friends and family and ends up suffering from a heat condition at the peak of his crime fighting career. hes forced into early retirement and is incapable of helping anyone. hes pretty damn tragic.

  • @brucenatelee *heart condition* not heat condition. typo.

  • Awesome plot!!

  • Very nice. Has a Captain Marvel feel to it. :)

  • @H0rcrux well he's really an composition of all your super powered archetypes. captain marvel, superman, samaritan etc. what sets him apart is what he represents and the time frame in which he operates- the golden age.

  • Good God, that's beautiful work. I look forward to the finished graphic novel.

  • the force is strong in the Notarile family!

  • That's pretty sweet man, would it be dealing with protectors adventures before his age or will it be an adaptation of your short film?

  • @ShadowedSavior yes to both. the story spans the full 100 years of his life.

  • D: woah

  • sick
