  • hoo owns these cars

  • in the video at about 32 seconds is a plymouth 2 door hardtop...anda a chrysler...did you get chance to check their condition...i'd love the plymouth

  • to latenight2006, I love this!!!! thanks for posting

  • Where is this site at? Cause this is a intersting site to go to.

  • Is the 1951-52 Dodge Coronet @ 1:21 for sale? I'm only 300K from there and I havea 52 Sedan and a 51 Hearse that I am fixing up!

  • So quit you can even ear Alberta people Quacking behind..

    Quack! Quack! Quack...

    Can you ear it??

  • 0:47 love the 50's interieur

  • holy crap! that shed full of old cars! so unloved, why?!?

  • NO WAY 3 1959 MECRURYS IN ONE PLACE?! THOSE ARE SOOOOOO RARE!! someone save them!!!

  • @GeekUltra They were Monarchs not Mercury's, so they are even rarer!

  • Mercury made the Monarch.

  • But it was not called a Mercury Monarch, it was a seperate line till the 60's, it's along the lines of calling an Edsel a Ford Edsel, it's not incorrect, but it's not the right way either... but I was'nt arguing with you, I was agreeign with how crazy rare it is to see them!

  • I know man it's fine I was just saying that they were... I wasn't taking it that way at all.

I used to have one of these myself acually 1959 Mercury Commuter which was the station wagon.....sadly it's now sitting in my local junk yard :(

  • Oh man, I love wagons more then anything, why is it in the JY? Can you save it? (btw, go to my page and click on the rat rod tow truck for a link to my cardomain, I have some funky junk there!)

  • I wish I could but it was just to much of a project for me cause at the time I was 12 or 13 when I got it from another junkyard...

I'm 15 now and have a 1959 Ford Fairlane which is my baby :D

  • Cool, I have a 59 Meteor 2 door wagon!

    ...and a 56 Meteor 9 passenger wagon!

  • hey um i live here

  • I agree..kinda sends a chill up my spine when i see old cars like this sitting out in a field, unloved, and probably have quite a story to tell~~

  • Yeah but look - they are all 4 doors. Most collectors like the sporty 2 door hardtops and that is why they are wasting away. Nobody wants to sink money into a 4 door.

  • Nice 59 Monarchs they are very rare now I have a 57 Monarch all restored. It get lots of looks when I drive it. I picked a 57 parts car years ago and used the part I needed and sold it and is fully restored now in Alberta.

  • Thats awesome i used to have a 59 Mercury Commuter which was the station wagon sadly it is sitting in a junk yard now :(

  • These cars don't look like they have much, if any rust, I hope someone restores them.

  • where is this place at?

  • This is one of the places that I wanted to see!!

  • ill take that dodge truck if u guys dont mind

  • its a shame that people are stupid enough to leave such beautiful cars to rust

  • awesome video

  • the car at 01:09 is the car i bought

  • Its fascinating, cause these cars were actually built with style and quality,, unlike these plastic putt putts they put out nowadays,,,,,,no character in cars nowadays!

  • you are so true!-back then:chrome,metal,etc. now:plastic,fibreglass.

  • I don't know why but I just find this sort of stuff fascinating.

  • I am looking for locations of old cars from out west I am looking to buy cars I am planning a trip out west from Ontario. If anyone can help contact me please .Keep up with the good work

  • i want that car on 0:35 wut is that kind of car?????but i love it!!

  • i think i kno wut it is i think it is a dodge coronet!!!!i love old dodges!

  • That's a '59 Dodge ( I don't know which model this particular one is). I'd love to get one of those, too. They have got one of the most unique front ends--it looks angry. Could you imagine one of these '59 Dodges being used to play the part of 'Christine'?

  • wow dude those cars are EXELLENT for restoration!!!!!!

  • The '59 Monarch is superb !

I used to hunt the fields of Alberta in the early 1990s as well.

Found a 1960 Meteor Starliner near Pincher Creek along with a '61 Monarch and a few '61 Meteors. Wound up putting a couple of those on the road for a few years.

  • this is a great video

    the truck reminds me

of the one in the movie wrong turn !!lol

  • i would have hotwired that pink car and drive off,if the engine still worked.

  • This video gives me wood!

  • I really like the desoto sign? is this place inhabited by anyone? It seems rather strange to be in such prefect condition

  • Yeah...that's a pretty cool set up. and yes, someone lives there. I talked to the wife and she says that her husband is willing to sell some of these cars. I wish I knew where i put their phone number because this place is over 3 hours away from where i live.

  • this is where you find great cars for restoration

  • I love those '59 Monarchs

  • I Love those '59 Monarchs

  • Must of been old route 66

  • why are there so many nice cars sitting out there

  • These cars are in decent shape--for their age. There are quite a few others in poorer shape out there, but I've only shown you the best ones. The arid climate and storing these cars in a field rather than hiding them in a bush help keep the rust at bay.
