If you come to PV looking for hamburgers and mcdonalds its there, but you might not enjoy it as much as where you come from. If your looking for real mexican culture, get beyond the Malecon shopping arcade and see whats out there.

I have been living in Puerto Vallarta for 2 years and yes it is a shit hole with nice hotel. The area around the hotels is nice but not the rest. And what can I say about the people, they are rude if they are not getting anything from you. It makes me sad because I'm mexican but where I can from people are legit and they do not have to pretend they like you. Also most of citizents have no respect from enviroment and they trash like pigs. Goverment people are cocsuckers and corrupt to the bones
