Talk about looking at the world through rose coloured glasses, perhaps if Capra had looked at politics and economics he would realize that regardless of race,creed or colour Politicians no-matter how idealistic they may have been before entering office ultimately serve financial interests this for them is the ultimate value they place above all others. How do you know. Look at inequality, economy and what is going on in the world today. This shows how naive Capra was just like many others.
America is like a huge ship & Obama is at the tiller trying to turn it about. Unfortunately huge ships turn very slowly and the challenge for him in leading the American people to be more socially & environmentally concious. It wont happen soon enough for most of us, because we are already singing in the choir. Getting out too far ahead of the American population will be Obama's constraint, luckly we have champions like Al Gore who may help in marketing of Greener ways in the near future.

wow, i thought this guy was smart, i just started to look into fritjof, and i thought he was going to trash obama, but he praises him. obama is a sock puppet, talking head for the nwo. the 'new' administration is a frankenstein of past administrations. thats too bad this guy has hope in obama, he's not a free a thinker as he makes himself out to be.
