After watching that stupid video on the Arizona chicks, I wanted to find a song that can describe what is going through my mind and in my heart right now. And this song described it perfectly! :) Come on my people! Fight the racism! Don't give in to the ignorance and strive! We are survivors! Along with the rest of the races. Become someone in life!! Fight the oppression!
porque se separaron si eran uno de los mejores grupos de mexico creo que encabezaban siempre la lista de los mas vistos, ojala y olvides sus problemas y se vuelban a juntar
@XxDjSlickxX, Mexican is not a race it is a nationality like American another nationality, Canadian, yet another one. So there is no such thing as having Mexican blood. There are three races in this world of which we all belong to at least one Caucasian, Mongolian, and Negroid(African).
If the above describes you, stop calling yourself a Mexican because you are not, but if that still doesn't get into your thick skull then just go get a stupid sign and wear it daily.
The closes we all get to being one would be the word Hispanic, this word is more common than the word Latin in both English and Spanish. As for referring to everyone as Mexican, that is simply incorrect, because as I explain in the next 4 posts, that word is simply a nationality. By the way there are Hispanics of some percentage in Canada too. Proud to be an American(my nationality by birth) Go Navy!!
If you were born in Mexico and are still a legal citizen of Mexico, meaning that you did not legally immigrate any where else, then you are a Mexican citizen-that is your nationality. If you were born, lets say for argument sake in America or you legally immigrated to the U.S. then guess what?... I'm warning you that you might not like my following statement, but here it goes, ... Once more If you were born, in America or you legally immigrated to the U.S. then you are an American.
The closes we might come to, might be Hispanic simply because it covers the closes traceable origins of all including the ones from Latin America. The truth is there is no such thing as the Mexican race, that’s just as inaccurate as saying someone is from the American Race. Niether Mexican, nor American is a race, I hate to burst everyones bubble but both are just a nationality.
It's true, because even the majority of the people from Mexico came from some place else and some are not even of hispanic descendency or maybe just half. For example the artist Luis Miguel Gallego Basteri is part German. You just have to take a look at many of the artists in Mexico that claim to be "puro Mecxicano" aren't thier blonde hair, and birth names gives them away. Last names like Bentacourt, Fox, Bach, Kuno Becker, Salma Hayek, and that is just to name a few.
Wahh...the color of my skin is NOT a crime...I'm Brown and Beautiful....and im NOT illegal...i just look "illegal" .....therefore I should expect the police to stop me when im driving and probably expect for them to try to deport me....FUCK ALabama!!!

@xxirisNOTirishxx I try to explain it to some people at church but they just don't get it either, they think you are attempting to deny them something. Apparently they don't realize that when they decline to embrace their true nationality by birth or legal immigration they cut themselves short in so many ways, its no longer funny to me, but instead sad. U.S. parents, U.S. born/legal immigrant=American.
