For most of the folks here. games is just about graphics graphics and graphics....you guys are pathetic.

Great games comes from the depth of story line, character design, music surrounding which hits on ur G-spot when you're in it.

Oh well, shallow minded kids only see from the surface, but not what lies from the inside.With enough budget, who can't make a beautiful game?

Not all SQUARE ENIX game is good. The Last Remnant sucks like hell particularly. Its a rubbish game.

@eleszar1 i'm a 3d animator too and i think more than the designs look "cheap" i think they just look old or dated. Like, this looks to me like a PS2 game...but it's for the next gen consoles? I'm mostly referring to some of the environments and textures. It still looks like a good game... Maybe this is just a low rendered trailer, but who does a low rendered trailer for a game that isn't released yet? Also Metacritic gave this a 69, but it isn't out yet... so i don't know whats going on. :/

@eleszar1 Not exactly, cheap designers mean the game had a lower budget, but that in NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM means it's a shitty game.

Indie games for example, they are cheaply made, yet some (mainly popcap's) sell at an actual profit, which most games don't nowadays.

not everything has a budget as high as FF13, or MW2. Nothing will probably sell as well, either. Still, that doesn't mean they are shitty games.

I am not a 3d designer, animator or whatnot, rather, I'm not even in the industry.
