Glen Mason blew multiple leads during his time at Minnesota. But, the truth is, as a coach, he was solid and very underrated. The main reason he blew such games and couldn't get the program to the next level was that he wasn't a very good recruiter and was lazy at it. Recruiter solid defensive players was his biggest weakness. Due to him underachieving in recruiting, his teams often ran out of gas way too early.

You know why Stocco came to play for Wisconsin? He didn't want to play football indoors. football is meant to be played outdoors, but Minnesota finally has an outdoor stadium. Won't matter, because they still will suck. Curt Phillips is the future of UW football. It's just a matter of working the spread offense in Bielema's system.

I was there too. I'll never forget it. Almost all the upper deck was red/white. It just exploded in the last seconds, while the bottom deck cleared out. Great moment.

I will remember this forever. That's what makes the Wisconsin-Minnesota rivalry so great. Any thing can happen. It's still a great rivalry when a team or teams are doing bad. I love the intensity of this rivalry. It's going to be a battle this year at Camp Randall.
