Hey guys! I don't know if you'll get to see this, but Shay you usually ask where are we when we listen to your podcasts. I listened to 10 of your podcasts while on a 12 hour bus ride across my province, while being surrounded by strangers on a packed coachline bus. So we took out our wallets, but AJ told us to put it away and he paid for both of our food. It was extremely nice of him but we felt really bad. But we thanked him afterwards! And then he said "no problem, you guys are my friends" :) One of the best days ever.

The comment wasn't really homophobic. But I see why you would think that way because in the end it doesn't really matter. Shay seems just fine with it and treat him like a family friend, just leave it at that. @TCCharlesOfficial I think there was a law passed about teaching children about LGBTQ people. I don't know when it is going to take effect or if it is already in effect, but there is still a chance of them knowing before Shay and Collette must. Anyways, they should handle it a younger age. This way they will be more accepting and non judgmental of gays as they grow older. Children are the easiest to influence, and if they are influenced the wrong way it could scar them for life.

They all accept him and treat him as one of their own, so to sit the kids down and to talk about his sexuality as if its a medical condition makes it seem unnatural, and as MOST of us know, homosexuality is as natural as the tree in my backyard. I grew up with a gay cousin and nobody had to explain it to me; as long as the parents are accepting and just treat him the same as any other friend, the children will follow suit. It's not a handicap...

Some homosexuals I've known, they were really comfortable with it and they knew that they were different from us and we were different from them.
