Hi guys do you mind answering my question? im a bit confused on the team entry list for next year. 12 have been confirmed but whats going on with sauber? are they racing or not? i personally would like to see 26 cars on the grid for the first time since 1995
i live about 2 miles away from the lotus factory and where the brand all began in Norkolf, England, so i cant believe its sgonna be registered as a F***KING malaysian team! cluster f*uckers
hey lolololololllll....... bustardzzzzzz...... If not becoz of the malaysian brandsss...... u will not live 2 miles away again from lotus factory since 1997. WHO SAVE LOTUS U F***KING ASS...... why u'r own goverment doesn't want to save your own products???????
i dont know about you but rubens jus moods all the time he never shuts the fuck up and when he wins yh good for him but i like lewis more and he SHOULD jus finish at the end of this year (and bad luck about webber lol )
I would love to see the john player special livery return lol. I wasn't old enough to see it the first time lol. Or go even further back when it was forest green with gold/yellow trim
Yeah I would have told you guys that. But my comments exceeded the limit and I was too lazy to come back and say " nvm " which is probably what I would've said exactly lol. Also whats the song you have in here? the one at the end and beginning I presume?
O jeez -_- . I live in North America and muse is becoming kinda big here :D . Anyway I just had numerous artists running through my head but couldn't narrow it down lol. Thanks a lot I like muse.
Hi guys. I would love to see a grid with potentially 28 cars but somehow i dont think it will happen. Apparently Toyota and/or Renault could drop out after this year. Lotus sure does bring back the memories, the iconic black livery, chapman, Mansell crashing at Monaco and more!
P.S: am i the only one getting seriously fed up with the lack of an 09 f1 game. I always race the tracks the week leading up to the race and cant do it with Singapore, Spa, Abu Dhabi, Valencia. Roll on f1 2010!
On a serious note, it would be dreadful for such an esteemed name as Lotus to be backmarkers all next season...and the season after that...and the season after that...that would make me a very sad man
FWIW F1 just hasn't been the same (for me anyway) since we had a strong Lotus team. The company did after all change the sport - a couple of times
its good to see BMW Sauber finding a new owner, YAY LOTUS IS IN F1 AGAIN (probably with Proton Cars as the prime sponsor), finally imagine 28 cars at Monaco, they'd be griding up round Antony Nouges
it will hard for me to remeber all the new teams names and drivers, until now I don't know how to spell kimi's last name. Having 3 or more teams in 2010 is like watching someone struggling in the back of the grid without any success for serveral years.. they will go bust any way...
Here's hoping for black and gold livery on the Lotus, but I doubt it. They would go for it, if they're smart. Peterson & Senna would be smiling in Heaven.
Havent talked much about Campos or Manor(Virgin F1) or USF1(They will have a blue car they said as keeping in traditions) Would be nice to see a Lotus that is Yellow at first with minor blue and red stripe Malaysian colors BUT Lotus yellow. I think they will pull a Malaysian Driver and maybe Senna tough to say as Senna has been nowhere as of Winter 08.
Where will Rubens, Quick nik, Fisi, and Trulli wind up is interresting to me. And will we see Wurz, Davidson, Sato or de la Rosa
I know this video isn't about this, but...REALLY looking forward to SUZUKA? I know all of us "arm-chair-racers" have probably put more time in on that track, than any other. It's always fun to watch F1 race on a track where you can get into the drivers head. Breaking point, camber change. When to lift.
Also, was reading that Mercedes, who will be heavily influencing Brawn decisions in 2010, aren't that keen on keeping a Brit(Jenson) & would prefer a countrymen chauffeuring the 3-pointed-star.
Suzuka is a great race track, play it on F1 99-02 all the time! 3 pointed star? I think Button and Rosberg are to be confirmed. If Rubens is champion he will retire on the spot and if Button wins then Rubens will go to maybe Manor(Virgin F1) or a back-marker team
Cont. It's the green and orange livery, then the black and gold hues of JPS, later the yellow of Camel, which I actually liked.
The Malaysians may be exhuming the name, but they will never exhume it's soul.
As for Qadbak, now I am chuffed. Im pleased that Peter can save his staff and base from the brink, and that he's offering to be boss once again. IMO they should've been de facto the 13th team as they have the infrastructure in place. But possibly 28 cars, that'd be great!
Hey guys, Im not at all chuffed about the Malaysians buying the Lotus name and bringing it back.
Yes I know the car company is owned by Proton, but Colin Chapman WAS Lotus, Jim Clark WAS Lotus, and Graham Hill WAS Lotus. Who is Tony Fernandes? And being owned by the Malaysian Government, that's Bernie's wet dream.
Im sorry to say, but Lotus died on the 16th of December 1982. It should remain a glow in the hearts of enthusiats and that warm feeling you get upon hearing the iconic word.
Both brawn drivers have done such a great job this year that I will be delighted for which ever one of them wins the championship. Looking forward to seeing the teams new liveries, F1 could be getting a bit nationalistic, force india with national colours, same could happen for qadbak and I bet you guys 50 quid that the USF1 car will be styled on the US flag.
It's sad really, because it's all down to the car that's why Red Bull have lost this championship. Though I agree, Red Bull should have taken advantage of the poor Brawn form.
But the championship is looking very interesting between Rubens and Button.
The Qadback team may not need permission to be on the grid next year as I'm not convinced that either Toyota or Renault will enter next year. Lets hope they do.

OK, being a Lotus owner I'm chuffed about the name Lotus being back in F1...with a couple of conditions though:
1. That some of the folks from Norfolk actually have a part to play in design and/or manufacture of the chassis, and it's not a pure name buy out
2. That the livery is BRG or black and gold
3. That Senna and Nakajima are the drivers, oh what the heck...a Dumfries, De Angelis, Warwick or Hakkinen will be ok too
(just kidding on No.3)

totally agree... it's button title now, if he doesn't win it i'll cut my own bollocks off...
couldn't stand seeing webber go off on the first lap, you bastard robert...
lewis hamilton going off on the last lap was cruel, but he should've backed off, you can't pass anybody this year...
they're not actually going to be team lotus, they're going to be lotus f1 team...
i hope the FIA can get 28 cars, that would be awsome...
PS. do a podcast on renault's disqualification...

I would like a black and gold Lotus also.
I am really glad BMW found a buyer... lets hope Heidfeld sticks around and gets to develop and help this team grow.
Do all the circuits have enough pit space for 28 cars?

any one knows where the 28 cars will be a problem. in terms of garages. for sure Monaco will be a problem. no ?
justjesper 2 years ago
Well I know Silverstone very well and they have partitions between garages and each driver already gets what could be split into 4.

some teams wont get a garage they will work out of a trailer truck! Micheal Knight did?...
