no hes right... the heavier bbs have more kinetic energy however a much lower velocity... it is the same with an M9's 9mm round compared to a m1911 colt's .45 round- the colt is much more hard hitting with a slower velocity

.25's don't hurt more because they go slower, they hurt the same. Simple equation mass x velocity= pain

actually paintballs go around 300 Fps but they have more mass so they hurt more. With airsoft .25 does hurt more because of more mass but it is hard to tell. Now if u shot someone with a .12 then a .25 they would be able to tell you the difference
