its normal for a turbo car to spit flames here and there - especially if the Cat is removed. The exhaust is not going to melt from a .00000000002 of a second flame blowing though and exhaust system at 5,000,000 PSI.

@z3r0zx1, it's a street car not a rally car. antilag is only used in racing... that is, unless you want to go through turbos fairly quick. ;)

@EliBuddha hes my uncle i would know lol plus when i said popping fireballs i didnt mean it was constantly popping like an anti-lag system. Over time his exhaust got messed up. But oh well, he got rid of his sti, dont know why. Subarus for the win! lol

@muamoua he probably burned up his cat running high exhaust temps. No cat or a high performance cat will prevent this. He could also go with a different turbo.
