  • l used Eze water about ten years ago in a dio , now it has cracks thought it and has gone yellow. it was perfect and looked amazing ...

  • @panzermann007 You can re-melt it to get rid of the cracks. I line/protect everything with tinfoil and then use those pocket torches that run on butane lighters. Usually the yellowing comes from overheating the stuff (once it is yellow there's not much you can do about it.

  • @panzermann007 i dont know if you are that generation , but this guy reminds me of the scientist inTthe Muppet Show, dropping everything, bad presentation skills, he just needs Beeker by his side. Other than that great info, very useful. Greeting and keep up the good work modelers

  • how could you make a larger water area for a wargames....probably around 4ftx4ft or bigger? any recommendations?

  • that waterfall looks like ice. also pretty cool

  • keep up the good stuff

  • thanks!

  • can I use two part epoxy resin?

  • It is way too stinky. But, depends on what you are doing. (It would be brittle if thin on a flexible base, too expensive if you are doing a large surface area, it would be tough though)

There is the clear acrylic coat stuff (that thick finishing for decoupage; you see it on restaurant tables too.)

Cheaper method, pour 1/8" layers of Weldbond (or good quality white bond glue - clear drying) letting it dry in between layers.

Small area, steal your girlfriends clear nail polish.

    Clear silicone.

  • @phatmonk6195 I've been using clear casting resin recently and that works well. It's fairly cheap for large, deep areas, although it does stink so use it outside.

  • im totally hittin that yellow button

  • chaotic!

  • what would you think would work well for deep water?

i want it to be 4inch deep and clear so i can see in side,

allso how would you hold the water effects in the shape and then be able to take it out and it still be clear?

  • if you want deep water, you have to layer it. also, for a shape, just put it in a box or something you can peel off

  • dude great models!!!!

  • nice, you're so chaotic! Like your dios.

  • bahahah, SMASH!!... anyways, if your were...

nice mentality- seems to mirror my own

  • cool!

  • cool dioramas you have there m8 5/5
