the tune is not as memorable as james cameron's other film titanic when it should because leona lewis is not a bad singer. i attribute it to the fact that the tune doesn't flow smoothly to a climax as the song sung by celine dion does. i would even go so far as to say this song is actually quite boring and only leona lewis' vocal is the only redeeming factor. Avatar is a great film, this song does not do it justice and is quite disappointing.

@raerae4197 No, it's just the same composer who wrote the score for this movie as well as Titanic. James Horner likes to use the same types of chord progressions that tend to be different from other composers' styles. I would actually say that this song sounds more closely intertwined with the theme to A Beautiful Mind than it is to Titanic, but this one has more of a 90's ballad feel to it, despite the movie being released in the 2000's.

the tune is not as memorable as james cameron's other film titanic when it should because leona lewis is not a bad singer. i attribute it to the fact that the tune doesn't flow smoothly to a climax as the song sung by celine dion does. i would even go so far as to say this song is actually quite boring and only leona lewis' vocal is the only redeeming factor. Avatar is a great film, this song does not do it justice and is quite disappointing.

I think this is a good example of what modern day society could bring us in to. I think we should care more for the envirement and stop wanting to kill each other and killing EVERYTHING AROUND US. i loved the movie and it made me think and i am gonna do much more to the envirement now.

@raerae4197 No, it's just the same composer who wrote the score for this movie as well as Titanic. James Horner likes to use the same types of chord progressions that tend to be different from other composers' styles. I would actually say that this song sounds more closely intertwined with the theme to A Beautiful Mind than it is to Titanic, but this one has more of a 90's ballad feel to it, despite the movie being released in the 2000's.
