It's called progression. Not all groups stay the same throughout their career. Whatever keeps IM in business is fine with me. That said, I DO like dubstep, so I might be a bit biased. Seriously, they haven't made enough psy albums for you yet? Also, this is the most psy dubstep I've ever heard. I welcome a merge of the genres.

hey now , when i was fan of Infected 9/10 todays fan didnt know they existed... Erez and IM were doin parties here in my country when even PSy trance was too underground to mention.

Anyways i love them , dont put words i never said. But Dubstep? And psy-dubstep? All i heard was brostep( dubstep ) only.

Anyways i dont mind but they goin with the flow more or less. And thats what i dont like.

Let others have different opinions and tastes than yours .

@Azatis Fortunately this song is barely dubstep, and it really seems like more of an experiment than anything. I don't think they are doing it as anything mainstream. Most of the song isn't dubstep at all, and it still has that unique, crisp mushroom sound. They are still innovating music and still fresh.

@BlessMySystem Couldn't agree more...so many people are making this kind of music and the stuff of converting and before (even including some songs from IM the Supervisor) is just totally unique among psytrance...so many great instruments, vocals, and complex, changing melodies and rhythms. Over the past 2 years especially, I've been forced to take Infected off my list of favorite bands...after seeing them live for the 2nd time last fall I noticed a huge downgrade in quality from even fall 09

I personally love their old songs a bit more, especially the album Vicious Delicious, that kept me loving my internship over the summer. However I am looking forward to their new album, especially their Pretender cover, I Shine, and Serve My Thirst.

Amit and Erez have been making music since 1996 and have always combined many music styles into their tunes, i mean look at all their discography, they have been changing stuff each album.

i'm sorry that i have to be the hater, but this shit is pretty fucking gay. i love dubstep (not skrillex, datsik, excision, etc.) and i understand infected mushroom is experimenting with different styles and interests but i personally can't wait til this phase for IM goes away. i wish they would stick to their goa and psychedelic roots but it seems those days are long gone. they have become a "pop/metal/electronica" band. as a once super IM fan, i wouldn't flinch to see another artist instead.
