79 series landcruisers, are built as work vehicles, leaf springs rear, heavy duty coil at the front. they are not comfortable vehicles.

as to how they compare, articulation is generally poor compared to vehicles with a lower load carrying capacity, due to stiffer springs etc.

LC200/LC100 = very comfortable/refined. 79 series = not at all.

to appreciate this, 2 years ago, they started being sold with airbags, that's how basic.
