The show represents the path of Celts including arrival and new life in America. That's why it's somewhat cartoonish. It's SUPPOSE to be cartoonish. He picked up what most people in the World associate with the British, with America, etc. Too bad most people on youtube don't get it...

During "The last rose" that "cupid with a flute" MF is shown even longer than the dancers!!!!! This is supposed to be a DANCE show, for crying out loud!!!!!

I think he should have kept to one time period in this show and focused on the telling of what happened isntead of zipping through multiple points in time, it probably would have come out better

another fantastic dance from a great show!!!

My only complaint about the dvd as a whole is the overall sound production, there are a lot of places (for instance when michael enters on this dance) where its hard to hear the tap... would have prefered the crowd turned down a notch.

on the subject of pre-tapping - it wasn't, but even if it was we all know that these dancers are more than capable of tapping this live, so personally i wouldnt mind if it was pretapped for dvd purposes,

exactly! it is not pre-tapped and anyone who thinks so should get their butt to a professional rehearsal and try and keep up with the dancers cos they are super super fit!

The audience don't care about whether they have jetlag or whatever they just want to see a great show!

I have been doing ballet for years and it's not half as tough as Irish dancing a friend of mine did it for years and tried to show me some it's tougher than it looks... a whole lot tougher!

Thankyou. It is only tougher if you do it well. That is the funny thing believe it or nt, it isn't really hard if you shuffle along and don't try, but once you start picking up your feet, actually doing something, then it gets harder!!

I should knw this, I have been doing Irish Dancing for the past four years, and oh boy! I hope to God I am fit, considering I do Pedal Prix as well, soo, hehe lol. Yeah, I have a busy schedule. XD Thanks for your support by the way. Greatly appreciated. :)

I know this is not pre-tapped .. my dance teachers mate is in this show .. not this particular one that was taped but she is in his show .. they have micophones in the heel of there shoes XD

When dancers are this good, you get what you see and hear. They include little microphones attached to their shoes or there are microphones in the floor. I've seen a show how he makes these productions. They don't need to "pre-tap" as you call it, or record the tapping before hand (same thing). That's like saying the show is fake. They are just very, very fabulous. If you take the most talented dancers, and get them practicing and practicing, you get perfection like you see here.

It was pre-tapped! Obviously Michael's always in time, he's a master but look at the others carefully - you can see their feet miss or change beats occassionally.

Yeah, That doesnt mean it was pre taped.. You never done a concert, playing or dancing, made a mistake and then missed out tiny bits to keep in time!?! Plus it is all in the editing at the end, the concert was live, its just slightly bad syncronisity in the editing!! There is more than one camera at a concert!
