@icetea1977 To be honest, I agree with you - apart from the success part. And I also think if she didn't have that kind of accent, Paloma - and Adele even - might not be able to sing quite how they can.
@icetea1977 You think she's not as successful as she could be because you don't like her talking voice? I wasn't aware that an artist's career could be made or ended by your opinion of their talking voice.
@LifeOfLiterature : not sure if I would use the word ordinary in conjunction with this lady. Even if its just like a part of a larger word like extraordinary. I think she is simply "WOW" for now until someone invents a new word for a star like this.
her voice is really startting to mature and shes breaking into her own unique style, i absolutely LOVE her songs!!!! + shes gingerr [positive by the way ;)]

am i the only one who thinks its shit they have to make each song into a fucking act?! WHY THE FUCK IS SHE ON A CHAIR!! at a rock concert they just play music which is so much better. i like paloma though
wow shes good live aswell u dont get to say that normally for most singers shes a great singer theres so much rubbish nowadays and then she comes out realy good song
@Ellectro97 actually as a singer who is trained and I now teach. I can sing for hours everyday and not get a soar throat. The throat is not used in this way when singing correctly. Only air flow should be the thing that one considers touching throat. I like her but she has a lot to learn about the voice.
OK, give her my number and fly her over, she has a lot of talent but could look after her voice better. And its nice of you to comment on my anatomy in such a fashion. My bottom has real got some class you are so right! :-)
@judgementalfish BTW I forget to tell you thank you for being so sporting and allowing me an opportunity to express myself without some unlearned individual telling me where to go, instead and quick, intelligent and in fact witty response, I love the idea that you are mature enough to say "well played in stead of F off" Thank you, will you be my friend???? :-)
@charlesprinceofswing I'll tell you what, I don't really do friends on youtube, but I will say that it was very amusing to have a bit of banter with a stranger :) A worthy opponent in fact, instead of the usual little punks you get threatening you from behind their keyboards (Y) Keep doing your thing prince of swing :)

@charlesprinceofswing Everyone can train themselves to sing within their range and comfort zone and a natural singer who is trained early is gonna better hold onto their voice, but if everyone was like that, it would be boring. No Jethro Tull, no Kate Bush, no Bjork, no Paloma, no Neil Young, etc.
@DamledaKhan You can tell the difference between those whose voices fade and suffer from sore throats into their older careers like those mentioned, and (especially opera singers) can continue into their fifties and later with almost a full range, barring natural decay to the vocal cords. I like her sound because of how she sings, not despite it.
@DamledaKhan A very good point. Indeed I have sung opera, jazz and pop. What I do know however that even those like Steve Tyler could have avoided operations if they just took some simple steps to look after the voice. Even popular singers, I mean look at Roy Orbison, he pretty much sounded just like he did when he began.
Don't get me wrong I like her, but she needs to learn to look after it.
she has got a good voice on this vid considering she hadd a sore throat! Shes amazing going to see her in leeds as the manchester show was all booked up :(
What, where did you get that idea? Sore throats hinder vibrato and vibrato originates from the cords (vocal folds) because of tiny pitch variation caused by air flow. Nothing to do with the throat per-say.

No reason? My reason's simple: She fuels the pathetic asperational needs of pond life (such as yourself) with her zany chair walking attributes... Boing 'Wow glitter eyebrows, I wanna be just like her'... Let's all hope you don't wake up tomorrow dear, sweet dreams.
Well lets hope that someone will teach you one day what words can do .....
I still believe that you psycopathetic mind will no longer create hate ....
So check out YOURSELF first and after that i would be really happy to see you in person so i can teach you what Spartians where doing to people like you ....
Until then shut your mouth and accept the challenge my dear .......
LMAO, yeahinabituk, calm the hell down, if people like her, thats nothing that should concern you, i think shes brilliant, but if people don't like her thats fair enough, wishing death upon people is just a tad dramatic, get real yeah? ;0

@x8holly8x Not talking about singing. I meant their natural voice, it's full of their regional dialect.
