Also to be honest the U.N doesn't really get anything done and the 9/11 attack was caused sort of because we abandoned Iraq and its neghboring country's previously after helping a little when there was work to do and now we need to fix the problem we should have fixed previously. The US supported Saddam until the early nineties which would include when he committed most atrocities.
The US has killed a million mostly civillains and made 4 million more refugees, for oil.
Al Jazeera and the Real News are both in region and reflect the widespread anti American occupation sentiments of the majority of indigenous people.

That is unfortunately how the world works, that is how it always has worked. That which you scorn is "civilization".
Think of civilization as a thin veneer covering the truthisems of our specie at this point in our development. Remove that thin veneer and you will see what humans truly are capable of. I have seen a tinny piece of what is underneath, if you were to see it I do not think your contempt for our contrivance of civilization would be so great.

I always find it interesting that you hippies accuse others of being misinformed. Where do you get your info? CNN? Try asking an Iraqi, or a soldier that's been in country helping the Iraqi people. I was in Iraq, my cousin is Iraqi. YOU ARE MISINFORMED. Why don't you ask someone from Halabja about the war? Wait, you can't. Saddam mustard-gassed them, and killed about 300,000 others. Why don't you complain about when Clinton bombed Iraq, or sent us into Somalia, or Kosovo? Because you don't know.

I am now thinking only of Iraq. What comes to mind is the brutal killing and gassing of tens of thousands of innocent people by their leaders, followed by the brutal massacre of tens of thousands more. I think of the women and men with no civil rights. I think of Iraq raping and pillaging the innocent people of Kuwait. You're the kind of person who will bitch because nobody is doing anything about genocide then bitch when somebody does. Clinton has closer ties than Bush to the person you defend.

100 percent of the civilian deaths prior to the war were from Sadaam Hussein and his murderous brothers. To sum it up: The people you defend bombed the U.S. Marine barracks in Beruit killing 241 Americans. The people you defend also bombed the U.S.S. Cole killing 17 Americans. The people you portray as victims murdered 2997 civilian Americans on 9/11 after a previous attempt at blowing up the twin towers.The list goes on and on -ALL BEFORE ANY WAR BEGAN. Try to think of Iraq, Iraq, a differnt country, with a different history with no connection to Bin Laden or 911, you can do it.
This is how far out of the loop you are: Bush has much closer ties, business and financial ties to the Bin Laden's than Saddam.

When you drop bombs on a city you can be relatively certain civillians will die, 90 per cent of the deaths in Iraq were civillians.
