  • colosal!!!!!!!!

  • Philly Joe Jones is a miracle.

  • it drags on trane's solo. who would have thought...

  • tempo is 213 btw

  • Greatest trumpet player to ever live!!

  • does anyone know where I can find the version Miles recorded with the group "tuning" up in the intro? tempo is pretty fast too.

  • I do not know that version....

Please look for it from a discography of Miles Davis on the internet.

  • So Classy.

  • hey can someone tell me the tempo of this song? Are there slower versions? Is this the "original"? thanks a lot everyone!:)

  • Probably I think that you're comparing the version of the album "Cookin'".

The original version is added to the album "Blue Haze", and was recorded as quartet in 1953.

Incidentally it is tempo such as this live version.

  • now I want this album

  • Great upload, thanks! :)

  • You're welcome, wesselbindt-san!!

This is a rare version from a radio program "Bandstand USA" played at the jazz club "Blue Note" of Philadelphia on December 8, 1956.

    Otaku3 (*^_^)b

  • is the program also here? if not can you put it in? :)

  • As for this record, was released as bootleg later on.

The sound source that I have in this record is only two performances ("Walkin'" and "Tune Up") by the Miles Davis Quintet.

Therefore I don't have the sound source except them.
