OK, think i understand??with a free translation! yes I do have respect for the clouds. What you don't see is a very large opening behind me, I just flew up through the hole and down again... allways with good visability.
But don't forget, flying above low stratus (fog) is more dangerous than flying above clouds at 2,5km. In case of engine malfunction or any other reason of emergency landing you hayve verry little decision making time between the moment when you get out of the cloud and the moment when you crash the ground. So fly safe.
hmm, yes - actually i thought you just had very long arms!! But seriosly, I can't record onto hard drive on my jvc gz-hd3 (most probably vibration problems) so have to use the sd card - only 1 hour of footage... Do you think the lens could possibly help?? I have ordered a new chest mount now from the US.
I mean vibration of the picture, not vibration of the camera. camera shaking is relative to picture size- wider angle you record, less visible is the vibration. HDD is not good for PPG, you are right, too much vibrations, easy to damage. I record my flights on SD. I tested a lot of different mounts, now I simply hold it in my hand or attach to my lap reserve container by VELCRO strip. Key to succes is to make sort video and mix various view angles. Nobody would watch 20mins of static record.
Good, keep taking video, test various camera positions and share experience. But definitely buy some wide-angle lense for your camera. I use Raynox HD 3032 Pro 0,3x. It has two advantages - your face would not cover half of the screen when shooting yourself, and vibration will be smaller.

What wing are you flying with...Nice video

The wing is an apco thrust from '06 - thinking of getting a new wing soon and will probably stick to thrust.. I like it.
