The differring water textures ARE due to the different biomes; water looks kinda grayish in the swamp, and blue in other biomes.

@TetrisChemisttt minecraft was fun but the enjoyment just died down because it felt like im playing it over again with bits of updates. tf2 was quite fun but then i stopped because mw3 came out and i had quite some time playing around with it. hl2 sounded interesting but it didn't interest me because it felt a bit corny although it was there. i know cod isn't better than bf3 or skyrim but still cod was really addictive and won the FPS award because of the reviews and popularity of it.

Melek, the reason you aren't getting hungry quickly is because you are eating meat. Meat keeps your food bar full for longer. Try going on a bread and melon diet, THEN you will have to eat much more often. Also, your food bar drops from almost everything you do, mining, jumping, moving, swimming, sprinting, taking damage, etc.(Sprinting and taking damage use up food the most)

You know, of everything I've seen in Minecraft, I oddly enough find the abandoned mineshafts the most disturbing. Sure, the caves are dark and spooky, but that's natural. What gets to me is that someone, or someTHING, had to have carved out those shafts... and then vanished. And, of course, there's all the pre-existing torches throwing off my bearing.

I used to feel the same way about the villages, until they got all populated and stuff.

In SMP you can only hit 2-block mobs in the upper half of their body. So when you were trying to fight that zombie and the creepers from below, your blows to their legs were not being counted by the server. The reason your sword "broke" and then was returned to your inventory was that the server wasn't counting those blows but your client was, and thought the item had broken. When you exchanged inventory, the server thought you had dropped the nearly broken one. Just a little FYI. :D

@ArchmageMelek Yeah animal spawns are now different. You get only the ones that spawned, and they do not replenish. If you need a lot of them, dont kill them, breed them. You use wheat to not only tame them, but also to breed them.

To make a brewing stand, you need a blaze rod, which you can get from blazes, that are in neather fortresses.(The fortresses are relitivly rare though.) Also, when brewing remember that gunpowder makes potions splash potions, redstone reduces the potions effects, but makes them last longer, and glow stone shortens potionss effects, but makes the effects stronger. But once you add. The latter 2 to a potion, you can't edit the potion any further exept with gunpowder.

Also, make an animal farm. It will be a steady sorce lf food. (Holding wheat will make animals follow you! And feeding them will make them go into love mode)
