We have many different colors of engine paint to choose from. Just so happens the customer chose this color. We are happy to work with our customers to customize their project.
jpitts1234 is right. Chevy is red, and Ford is blue, Nice job, though, the rebuild looks like it went real nice. Anyway, next time, paint it blue please :)
High volume oil pumps are a pain in the ass and completely unnecessary. You'll believe me when you start snapping distributer gear pins or suck your oil pan dry at 6 grand. It WILL happen! They rob more power away from your engine to operate anyway. My Melling standard volume oil pump carries 60 lbs. pressure and only cost 25 bucks!
hey, gotta 85 t bird, stock bottom end w/ e7te heads, heads were ported, surface milled 5 thousands, with edlbrok performer and 650 on top, runns to my likens, low 12's 1/8 mile, good video though, 8.8 r.end with moser axles would do ya right..
Hey 2resist how long is a piece of string? You can go nuts building these little Windsor engines. A basic rebuild is not very expensive a all but when you start putting good gear inside be ready to get your dollars out. You can spend a fortune just on machining the block and trueing it all up, then there's balancing ....... etc etc. Write a list of what you want the engine to do and build your engine to that spec. Most of all have fun
An edelbrock cam...come on man. that small block need a comp, crower, isky...but not an edelbrock cam. they make good, really good intakes and heads. thats about it...!
the best flowing stock heads are either the E7's or the gt-40's. I used a set of dart pro1's on a motor for a drag car and it's the most insane motor i've ever built.
I am curious as to why you didn't use roller lifters.

what's an estimate to rebuild a 302?
SamUra101 2 years ago
depends on the parts you need or choose. A stock rebuild can be as little as $500

Its a high volume pump. Not a high pressure pump. However, I agree with you.
