God bless Ron Paul! He speaks the truth without spin. He seems "on target" when you stop to consider his answers and not simply dismiss them because they seem at first too different from standard simplistic answers. Wake up America & recognize the gem we have as candidate for the POTUS. If we had listened to him 30+ years ago (& I was one that didn't), we wouldn't be in the mess that we are today!

I'm personally an atheist, but I agree that marriage should be up to the church. It started in the church, why should it have ever left the church? It's actually always confused me why atheists have to be married in the christian tradition.

@KendrickMan But then again who says you have to go to a church to get married? You can always have a Civil marriage, which is marriage performed by a government official and not a religious organization. Hope that clears you confusion

@KendrickMan As one Atheist adressing another, you should be aware the problem is that "marrage" allows legal benefits. As such its no longer a purly religious ceremony, and can be regulated. THUS we have the current issue of retards trying to define it by law.

Giving the choise to the chruch is somewhat of a brilliant idea on Ron's part as he would effectily ban it in most areas and he personally wouldent be to blaim, the chruches would.
