  • Rollins is proof you can be the worst stand up comedian, singer, and poet ever.

And you can still make it in America.

  • @bosszeroboss Ahem. You're gay.

  • @bosszeroboss and yet you sit around doing fuck-all and earning nothing.

  • haha this perfectly describes my workouts. henry rollins is pure awesome

  • Thats crazy I work out with The Rollins Band music

  • This is great. No BS, I did same thing singing Angel of Death when I was working out at the gym. Glad to know I'm not alone.

  • I AM TEN MEN

  • God, I feel like Rollins still got one hell of a voice :p You can always dream

  • This is so full of win.

  • At 0:17 he sounds like Bill Hicks doing satan.

    Suckin' satan's pecker, Suck It!

  • When I heard Rollins speak he always looked and sounded like someone that I had seen before. Then, I watch 'back to the future' and realized that he reminded me of George Mcfly, he even sounds like him! I love Rollins. And as far as Slayer is concerned, well, it's fucking Slayer... What else needs to be said?

  • Slayer never got any support from the radio and only a bit from mtv but other than that they weren't being heard that much, so it's impressive to sell that many copies and have many fans at the same time.

  • Kerry King is a shitty sloppy guitarist

  • @VitalSigns1 Yes but you forget....SLAYER. ¬¬

  • @VitalSigns1 better then you no doubt haha

  • What multi-million album selling band are you in?

  • funy shit!

  • because slayer l,,l

  • Henry Rollins is so fucking real, SLAYER! and BLACK FLAG!

  • For the record, Slayer has sold over 4,000,000 records not just 100,000. That's a pretty good number of records for anyone. Not my favorite band but they do kick ass and you can't deny 4 million sold is impressive.

  • @mydogsbiteu

More that that buddy :P, Reign in Blood has sold 2m records worldwide, Divine Intervention has sold 3m worldwide and Seasons in The Abyss has sold 1m worldwide. South Of Heaven has sold 500k in america... dunno about the rest :O \m/ \m/

  • Henry Rollins & Slayer!!! There is no better!!!

  • I AM 10 MEN!!! HAHA!!! Amazing!

  • Fucking slayer

  • I LAUGH BECAUSE I DID THE SAME THING.

  • SLAYER!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Well, I never heard of him:/

i just read it in Slayers biography. Thought it was pretty cool...... dick.

  • i disagree. Slayer has sold around 100.000 cds on...... i believe it was seasons of the abyss or south of heaven, either way, they must be doing something right. As for "meaningless" thier lyrics have covered topics on torturers which most people have never even heard of, an example would be Joseph Mengele in Angel of Death. Thats something impressive.............OH!! im sorry,... what i meant to say,.. was FUCK YOU!!! SLAYYYYEERRRR RUULLLESSS

  • @SoloLust Rofl... Joseph Mengele is a torturer that nobody has heard of? Are you fuckin' kiddin' me, kid? Reality. check it.

  • @AntiThoughtProcess Well, I never heard of him:/

i just read it in Slayers biography. Thought it was pretty cool...... dick.

  • @SoloLust ok so only 100,000 ppl like slayer, wht about the other trillions of ppl who didn't buy the cd...obviously more ppl dont like slayer then the ppl who do, sooo slayer is okay. lmao jkjk i don't rele even care XD

  • @TheGuitardude94 100,000 More than that, has to be millions

  • @SoloLust And Ed Gein in Dead Skin Mask.

  • yawn

  • he would listen to nu slayer

  • I respect Rollins even more now I know he's a Slayer fan!

  • @fawnha Haha, Slayer's mainstream as fuck dude.

  • @geragna is that why we never hear a majority of their songs on the radio?

  • @waltknowm The reason why you don't hear a majority of their songs on the radio is because they have recorded more than 100 songs. I frequently hear various Slayer songs, i.e. Seasons In the Abyss, Rain In Blood, Black Magic, Eyes of the Insane, World Painted Blood.

I still love old-school Slayer, but they have become overrated since the mid to late 90's. It is foolish to act as though they are apart of the underground, especially after winning a Grammy.

  • @geragna yeah, you may be right, its just i never heard any Slayer on the radio. At least not for a LONG time. i guess i never listen to the radio at the right times

  • @waltknowm r u retarded they can't play slayer on the radio

  • @griffin456456456 thats exactly what im saying. ive only heard war ensemble like once on the radio.

  • GOD HATES US ALL!!!!!

  • Hey gsh73la, It's just my opinion. That's the great thing about this country, we can pick and choose what we like and don't like. I voiced my opinion and then you voiced yours. Isn't that great? Oh and Go F@&k yourself!! Talk to ya soon.

  • @MrBaphomet666 A lot of "metal" today is

    Turned into formulaic shite

  • Since I started a) listening to slayer b) wanting to be like Henry Rollins and c)stopped being a pussy, my max has increased by 40 pounds.

  • New Faith.

  • I listen to slayer every day when jogging

  • I warm up with 185 and I still feel like a pussy. I feel like a pussy for telling you what I fucking bench. Who cares?!

  • @UpsidedownHandshake I remember when i benched 180. I was 12.

  • @oregonUofOducks now your fat

  • @crotchtheband you're.

  • @crotchtheband Learn English

  • @oregonUofOducks

    180 grams? Lol

  • I WAS TEN MEN!

  • I listen to Slayer while working out on the stationary bike at the gym, where several rows of TV monitors overhead afford me ample opportunity to pass ruthless condemnation on my species. "Disciple" is, of course, the best Slayer song for this purpose, but I can't go wearing it out with too-frequent consumption, so I try to save it for special occasions, such as an appearance by Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, or the Kardashians.

  • whats the song hes talking about

  • @mavman16 slayer-god hates us all

  • @mavman16 sorry- slayer- song is disciple-from god hates us all cd

  • @slayer1888 thanks

  • @mavman16 Disciple off Slayers God Hates Us All album. Definitely the best slayer song for a workout :P

  • @UpsidedownHandshake 1989 my uncle benched 550 5 times... listened to Slayer ! enough said ..

  • @MrBaphomet666

ITs nice to see we all came to an agreement.....how refreshing. I will also check out all these groups.

  • @MrBaphomet666 CCR,Pixies,GZA,Burzum=WIN

Will have to check out the others.

  • @MrBaphomet666 Well, I like pretty much all the bands you've listed in some degree...It's the other bands I listen to that you seem to think are horrible for some reason. Wanna broaden your horizons? Check out these records:Then Play On(Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac),Yaweh or the Highway(Arab on Radar),Sung Tongs(Animal Collective),Safety Second Body Last(The Locust). Your welcome. You have any suggestions to broaden my musical vocabulary?

  • @MrBaphomet666 Your taste in music is shitty and narrow.

  • @BenjaminFrankenstein Your taste seems to be fullblown shortattentionspan shite

  • @MrBaphomet666 LOL!!!! U TROL ME!!!!!1!!1!!!!

No,seriously...I had a band of the joke/grind/offensive/punk/metal variety and we played many shows at a place in Terre Haute,Indiana called the Armistice Room...every once in a while there would be a metal night and Harakiri(from Indianapolis) played once and were phenomenal. Rocked out as much as Dillinger and were as brutal as Cephalic Carnage. Just sayin...They've been around longer than you've heard of them.

  • rollins loves to talk.

  • @MrBaphomet666 I remember my old band playing a show with Harakiri almost ten years ago...They aren't new, man. Anyways, I could go on and on and on with this, it's really stupid and I don't have the time to think about it anymore. I'm going to go listen to music. Peace.

  • what a dude lol i had the privalige of seeing him and slayer on the same day at a festival haha

  • @MrBaphomet666 You're really bad at refuting points. You don't try to explain your own points at all, you just assume your opinion is truth. Explain to me as eloquently as you can why Harakiri is as brutal as Fall Out Boy. Please.

  • @MrBaphomet666 Ok...when I mean brutal,I'm talking about the music...I love Mayhem, but they're nowhere near as brutal as Harakiri...just because the members themselves are "brutal" doesn't make the music brutal...and in that sense,Slayer shouldn't be brutal to you. The members of Slayer are just as brutal in real life as the guys from Cannibal Corpse. They're normal dudes that like football and Slipknot(well,Kerry King likes Slipknot). I'm done with this:) I'm more brutal than all of you.

  • @BenjaminFrankenstein Not sure why Slipknot is even mention on a Henry Rollins vid

It's like the opposite of what Black Flag etc stood for ?

  • @gsh73la Neither do I, but that benefit album where different singers did Black Flag songs (together with Mother Superiour/Rollinsband2.0) had theirs. He did the song kind of funny but it didn't really stray from punk/hc.

  • @MrBaphomet666 Oh yeah, and Meshuggah's been around since the late 80's, so I don't know how they go along with Lamb of God being commercial...fuck,I'm bored.

  • @MrBaphomet666 Slayer was one of the first metal bands I was into when I was 15...My tastes have expanded and I need BRUTAL MUSIC...ie.Cephalic Carnage,Converge,Meshuggah,The Red Chord, fuck even Dimmu Borgir is more brutal than Slayer...Slayer is good for what they are,a thrash band...I wouldn't call them brutal, though. Fuck, dude,go listen to Braindrill and tell me Slayer is more brutal.

  • @MrBaphomet666 Dude, your trolling is making me lol.

  • @MrBaphomet666 Comparing Meshuggah to Slayer is like comparing Cephalic Carnage with Megadeth. It's a jerk off contest to say who you think is better. Personally, I like more brutal music, so Meshuggah gets me more pumped...Neither is better the other.

  • @MrBaphomet666 Meshuggah is better than Slayer*

  • messugah > slayer

  • @wexerguy90 Meshuggah ftw

  • is this the same henry rollins from black flag?

  • Slayer's great for working out but when I listen to Pantera, I become a whole different person.

  • henry is right, i was listening to the song cult and screaming the words while lifting weights and i offended like 99% of that fucking place plus i crank that shit im my car, especially at stop lights and i can see people gettin all offended

  • SPORT THE WAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @jimbobtheimpaler WAR SUPPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • my mates bro once fucked to slayer

  • @WorldsForgottenBoy92

That's not a good idea. They never call you back! And they walk funny for awhile. FUCKING SLAYER!!

  • @WorldsForgottenBoy92 your bragging about what your "mates bro" fucked to?

That may be the gayest thing I've ever heard... and I'm from San Francisco.

  • @cobydick8 Dude. Its four muscley guys doing mad shit. That is gay by nature.

  • @hojima loooooooooooooooooool

  • @cobydick8 This Rollins is the gayest thing you have ever heard? He fucked his "bro" in Slayer? We in Germany could be appalled at this. What?

  • @cobydick8 Hahahahaha.

  • @WorldsForgottenBoy92 My sister's-cousin's-friend's-uncles's-father's-secondnephew's-dog's-father's-master's-bandmate once touched a boob while listening to slayer.

  • @geragna Lol

  • @WorldsForgottenBoy92 so have i, so has the rest of my band mates, and im sure so has mostly everyone else who listens to Slayer

  • @WorldsForgottenBoy92 lolicon.. total fag

  • I once suffered cardiac arrest while working out to Metallica, but I came back from the brink. If it had been Slayer on my Walkman, I'd have gone straight to hell! Slayer has leapfrogged over Metallica, Iron Maiden, and Megadeth in my Metal god hierarchy.

  • SSSLLLAAYYYEERRRRRR!!!!!

  • Um, I thought he was supposed to be funny.

Is this an example of "funny"?

  • @bosszeroboss ehhhh...it is if yer a slayer fan

  • @bosszeroboss

Um, I thought you were supposed to hang yourself. How can you talk if you're dead?

  • @CleverDjembe

    Um, what?

Let me guess, you either did or still do go to a public school, right?

  • @bosszeroboss

    Um, um, um.

  • yeh its also funny coz i work out to black flag

  • i find with slayer and reign of blood and all those kinda death metal bands really annoying becasue they usually hve really great music and amazing guitar and things but as soon as the vocals start it just kills the song all that screeching and pig squeling and the lyrics are so dumb if you can even make them out in the first place all like lsuaghter babies and shit

  • @ytrewqasfd slayer isnt death metal dude, reign in blood isnt a band its a slayer song, and most of slayers lyrics are actually quite clever dealing with religion and warfare etc.. just clearing up your misconceptions

  • @libertycaps666 actually reign in blood is not a song either... its an album

  • @waffenfrieden no its a song and an album you tool

  • @libertycaps666 hahaha the song is called raining blood an the album it is called reign in blood XD

  • @waffenfrieden oh shit fuck your right sorry dude

  • @libertycaps666 no problem by the way happy international day of SLAYER!!!!

  • @libertycaps666 No your wrong, Reign In Blood is the album, Raining Blood is the song.

  • @libertycaps666 its RAINING blood

  • @LivingIn1969 yeah i know i fucked up trying to sound smart lol

  • I listen to Slipknot, the faster Metallica stuff like Dyer's Eve and Battery, old-school Sepultura from Beneath the Remains and Arise, to get my speed fix. I get bored listening to the same thing for too long. But Reign in Blood is in a class of it's own. After all these years, it's still the best it's ever been done, at what it does...

  • @confoundicator "I listen to Slipknot"

You shouldn't mention Hot Topic music here, its very embarrassing

  • i listen to the god hates us all record when weight lifting too cuz its angry and hateful and makes me wanna murder every motherfucker in that fucking gym

  • Love Rollins, Love Slayer. Should try working out to The Ninth, though.

  • listen to Hell Awaits, their best album

  • pretty much that album has great solos but reign in blood is heavier and faster

  • @xmetalhead17

Everytime Kerry King get's his solo time, i turn my volume off. Everything else about Slayer, fucking ace.

  • @makeaton ehhh....the solos in seasons in the abyss and ghosts of war are pretty good in my opinion

  • uhh i work out to slayer all the time..its awesome lsning to their reign in blood stuff when ur running on the treadmill or sumthing very exhilirating..and wen im working on my arms i lsn to like seasons or south of heaven coz the rhythms are slower move along with the arm movements u know..every1 shud try that =D

  • I used to exercise to both Slayer and Black Flag. I'd listen to Seasons In The Abyss and then put in Damaged. Great combo.

  • there are much better slayer albums than god hates us all...

  • Cool story bro.

  • well, in my opinion, anyway

  • Has become my personal favorite actually. I love that album.

  • well, to each his own.

  • He's not lying, I just ran seven miles and the last mile was all 100% Slayer and 0% me.

  • @ CHIWhiteVulture: Hahaha, hands down the best comment.

  • lol

  • haha thats great stuff man

  • stupid hyper Christian fuck head

  • which one henry or the guy from slayer lol

  • was replying to the poster who posted this

''he gave the satanic sign alot. he works for hollywood''

  • What was he talking about before this...? Whats the context. Thanks :)

  • 0:56 Middle Finger Jig FTW!

  • Pantera is the best for working out and boxing.

  • its funny i work out to Henry Rollins

  • @666Angelfuck I like trains!

  • @666Angelfuck yeah!

  • apparently you are incorrect....

  • @slockyboy and you = delusional idiot

  • oh man slayer is the best to work out to!

I always THINK Im just muttering the words hahahah

  • been there befor.

  • I LOL'ed

  • i work out to black flag

  • haha same,Black Flag pumps me out more and gets me energetic

  • I love that man.

  • "I am ten men!" LOL

  • wow.. fagg alert..gansta on youtube..hardass

  • LOL i work out to slayer too!

  • Ditto.Slayer rules.

  • man i was working out in the gym to raining blood and somebody turned to chris brown i dropped my weight bar and i punched in a steel door.that intense

  • Henry's a true Slayer fan.

  • Slayer's awesome!

  • fuckin right

  • haha

I listen to Slayer and other hard core metal while training too. I've had times at the gym where people were staring while I was training. I wasn't saying the lyrics to the songs, but I was busy going "Rarrr!" as I shifted some heavy iron. lol

  • Hahaha! I have an overly hardcore workout mix and find myself breathing the words on my exhale as I run. I never really realized that I did it until the guy on the next treadmill kept staring. Damn...there I was thinking "I must look hot today!".

  • lol

I used to dress like Henry at the gym in black shorts & black T-shirt. I'd be there listening to metal, sometimes Rollins Band songs, such as "Just like you".Sometimes I'd be there looking angry, lifting heavy weights, grunting and groaning and training like a machine. I'd put the weights down and see the odd person look at me like I was some sort of psycho. lol (I'm not a nutter btw. lol )

  • haha

  • lol he must have asked them to play disciple on his show.

  • all of you are right. i have an old issue of Guitar World from i think about 1997 where they had a huge spread on black flag...in it, Rollins admitted that Greg Ginn was the core of BF. Don't get me wrong! I love every incarnation of BF and i really dig rollins...but it was definetly Ginn's band...lets not forget that Rollins was BF's FOURTH singer..

  • I AM TEN MEN!!! YEEEEEEEEA!

  • i wish i knew henry's workout routine he looks intense
