  • @Tazza189 Yeah that was my mate whilst pissed, kms would be about 550,000-560,00 had 539,000kms when i got it then i lifted it and turbocharged it exhaust manifold cost $500.00 from MTQ then turbo secondhand about $300 Exhaust housing to suit manifold was $550.00 intercooler & piping cost $350.00-400.00 3" dump pipe cost $80

  • @GQHULK OHHH man that gives me so much relief my car is same colour as yours haha and it has 440.000kms on it and im just worried about wackin a nice sized turbo on it! but yes that makes me heaps more confident!!

  • looks like fun!!!

  • Engine is just a stock standard TD42 4.2 Litre 6 cylinder Diesel just with a TD05H-16G Turbocharger fitted Running 18-PSI and 3" Pipe

  • so you just slap on that turbo and get that kind of performance ??

  • Oh and you need to turn the fuel screw on the injector pump to fuel it up a bit Approximately 3/4-turn best to install a pyrometer to moniter Exhaust Gas Temps (EGT) 550-600-Degrees Max under full load on a long hill or you'll start melting piston's

  • what the hell have ya go in this man! mean! any engine mods? awesome beast!

  • and then?

  • that was off dude were's my car? right? lol

  • niceeee sound x_x

  • nice truck how did you get it to turn 35s like there skiny legs thats awsome

  • changing diff ratios help heaps from 4.11 which the 4.2 engine come out with to the 4.6 ratio which is in the 2.8turbo diesel patrol that if ur running 35s or bigger

  • Beaut GQ mate.. Not much of a Nissan fan myself as I grew up around Landcruisers. But your rig looks fairly capable.

You anywhere near Bandiana by any chance?

    Cheers.

  • and lbsn it doesn't look anything close to rediculous just because its been raised a shit load1

  • that... is an amazing rig you've got there...

  • What is your exhaust setup ?

  • GO THE POOY!

  • Yeah i can but your truck looks familiar, were you at tallarook camp site last weekend with another 2 bad boy trucks?, if so i was the one who got stuck with the motorbike and came to ask one of youse for a rope.???

  • Are you in victoria?

  • yeah mate in the vic, can tell by the dryness hey?

  • arranja-me 1

  • thats was good...that sound...:)

  • hey mate sweet truck, was just wondering what engine the beast has in it, also whats ur lift height? 6" lifted coils?

    keep up the good work

  • Hi It Has A TD42T Turbo Diesel Running 18PSI Boost And The Lift Height Is 5" Coils And 2" Body Hopefully Soon Will Have A New Turbo With An Even Bigger Compressor Wheel And Running 20-30Psi And It Should Then Get Around 200-250KW At The Wheels! If Not Then I'll Run 40Psi Or More!!

  • ahh thanks for the info. Mate after that work the hulk will be fucking hectic lol.

make sure to post videos when its done :D

  • Yeah Sure Will

  • Im a patrol lover, td42 turbo owner etc, got the big gq, like a million of us, but i would love to see your td42 hold up to 30-40psi. They are a bloody tough motor, not that tough... unless you plan to pour 40 grand purely into the motor? ps, talk about motor boatin. Looks too high, 35's with 4 inch is fairly proven to be the most practical/legal/suitable/capable combination. I run 35s without body lift barely any scrub slight trim of the rear flare, and it doesn't look redicilous like that!

  • You Clearly haven't got enough wheel travel as i'm going to tub mine as the tyres scrub on the inner guards on the rear i've also cut the rear guards, as for the motor holding upto the pressure you obviously don't know how tuff the TD42 is!! I'll also be fitting 37's soon raising the spring ,ounts to lower centre of gravity and fitting portal hubs!

  • ever thinking of selling

  • I Do Think About It I'm considering Getting A GU For Work But I Might Still Keep It Not Sure Since I Put It On It's Side.
