I know there is a lot of channels now and days but please support Edward R. Murrow and check out our High School production "Kiss Me Kate". Show starts Dec. 7-10. Please stop by our channel ( PCBOXOFFICE ) for more details.
elementrobotics is right in so far as it was performed by a trio of men in the original production. They were black dressers relaxing in the alley between acts; in that day their race excused the explicit sexuality of the lyrics. It was certainly never performed by Lili/Kate in any production true to the original!!! It was given to Anne Miller in the movie, with some changes in lyrics. The new B'way version gives it to a black male trio and then expands into a dance number for the company.

Actually it's from Kiss Me Kate and it's performed by the female playing Lili/Kate.
