That "Allen Sugar" on the left clearly demonstrated the success of this advert. Jeremy: "Remember the one from yesterday?" Vw man: " How can we forget it?" Bingo. The ad was memorable and unforgettable, which is the point: to sell cars. It's not like there was anything in the ad that would tarnish Vw's reputation anyways. Vw cocks; you're sacked!

Let's see... the Scirocco TDI has fine handling, good brakes, excellent range, and no power. Basically, Jezza and Capt.Slow's commercial communicated all of that, made the TDI seem somewhat fun, and provided a memorable catch phrase (ie. "...vomit in it's face...") It's basically the perfect, accurate advert, and these two PR doofuses can't figure that out. Long live Top Gear.
