  • "Now I have the paper money, but I have a new silver ten dollar piece. Oh really OOOOHHHH"

    Bartering FTW!

  • LOLOLOL... good idea, but the gov is gonna get real pissed. No taxes lol, it's the equivalent of bartering.

  • i've been aware of the fact that our government has stop following the rule of law anyways if they did follow the constitution we wouldn't be using federal reserve notes we be using sound money.

  • Article 1, Section 10: "No State shall make anything but Gold and Silver coin tender in payments of debts." So there you have it, plain and simple paper money is unconstitutional, period.

    -Congressman Ron Paul

  • @CASTILLO51 Maybe this is news to you, but the Constitution hasn't been followed in these parts for quite some time. Damn shame really.

  • "making money faster than any human could ever spend it"

Thats supposed to be a joke right?

  • LOL, I bet the people printing out money all day make 0.0001% of the money they make haha, the irony

  • At 4:27 the narrator said "Kennedy abolished the silver standard". I thought Nixon abolished it. Kennedy supported silver backed notes with Executive Order 11110.

  • There is no such thing as "intrinsic value". The notion of value is subjective. There is no other reason people value such metals than for their aesthetics. Aesthetics also being a subjective notion.

  • Those that bought the norfed dollars made 20 dollars just by buying the dollars.

  • And just think - anyone who was smart enough to use these and keep some now can sell them for more than double what they originally invested in them! Ebay prices are going high on these - not just b/c they are pure silver, but b/c the government is stepping into areas it cannot legally go - and yet calling it legal!

The original 1998 Liberty dollars were valued at 10.00 b/c an ounce of silver was close to this. Now an ounce is 38.00.

  • and if you didnt believe we lived in a fascist regime this dude was just got convicted to do 20+ years. I guess its illegal to compete with private corporations like the Fed. The only thing that he did wrong was he made it seem like the LD was backed by the government

  • iirc Kennedy wanted to return to the gold standard before he was murdered.

  • fuck no, those chinese fakes could be circulating too. carry a pocket scale with you!

  • @U.S. Attorney Anne Tompkins: labeling von NotHaus efforts as "unique form of domestic terrorism" is Orwellian and disgusting.

  • @3axogu I'm upset about that! It is now "Federal Reserve" is our terrorist watch list!

  • the govt hates competition

  • History will continue to vindicate you, Bernard, regardless what the ''gooberment'' says.

  • 1. Kennedy didn't take us off silver. Technically that was Grant in 1873 and then Johnson removed the token silver coins in 1965 (1964 being the official last year, but they continued to be produced the following year with the "1964" date.

    2. Not illegal? And he referred to it as a "new $10 silver piece". Not really smart Bernie.

  • Well oiled machinery? They got that right!

  • I'd use these Liberty Dollars if they were available in Idaho.

  • @Nightshift10000 No you wouldnt. You would hoard them (which I would not be opposed to). You would pay your taxes with the shit currency that we currently use out of the natural instinct to unload the depreciating asset and hold on to the appreciating asset. Gresham's Law in full effect.

  • Those people that accepted $10 (ALD) in 2004 sure chose well. The same silver is worth about $37 (FRNs) in 2011.

  • I also recommend watching WHY WE ARE IN SO MUCH DEBT for a simple, clear explanation of our monetary system and its impact on your standard of living.

  • kennedy wanted to abolish the fed,you know the "PRIVATE BANK" thant controls our fake money, then he got his head blown off,he was the last real president.how a country lets a private company print its money is beyond imagination.rothchild said,if i control ones money i care not who makes its laws.the usa is owned by london.

  • How I miss the days when Liberty Dollars were readily available! Hopefully they will be again fairly soon. The physical silver has a nice feel to it, but I've always been partial to the warehouse certificates myself. They're beautiful. Lets hope the "Liberty Dollar 4" get some justice.

  • The problem with what he did was that he made it seem like the coin was "official" government money, at least in this video. And that was probably where the FBI and IRS got their cues. Not that I agree with that BS, but he could have been a bit clearer than saying "the new ten dollar silver". Should say an ounce of silver worth $10...$30 now :)

  • Excellent info clearly presented - with possible huge inflation on the horizon, we all need to understand money.

  • Montana and folks... Forget the website for now, watch the videos that the gov has NOT shut down. Great clip here though. After a few hours study you'll be banging your head on a desk considering how our education system and gov wants to keep us dumbed-down. This info is a threat and the feds want that control. Our Founding Fathers warned us and here's a prime example.

  • Way to go Bernard, We the People demand real money! FRNs are IOUs

  • Is there any other website around that gives more information on the liberty dollar? Just wondering since I see that the website mentioned at the end of the video has been shutdown by court order.

  • The Liberty Dollar lives !!!

Go Bernard !!! You are a hero

  • Fiat currency will ultimately be reduced to its intrinsic value which is nothing. Always has been; always will be. Buy gold, buy silver, have faith.

  • "Kennedy abolished the silver standard" ?!!

    That's news to me!

  • @askwhatifdotorg

I think they meant the gold standard, but I think you are right, they got this all wrong.

    history.com/this-day-in-history/fdr-takes-united-states-off-gold-standard

I was origanlly FDR in 1933, then Finally Nixon in 1970's who finished the job.

  • Honesty is something that scares the federal government to death! Bring it on, Bernard!

  • It is no surprise that people want to use gold and silver as money. Has been that way for thousands of years. Why does the Learning Channel not mention article 1 section 10 of the US Constitution? They don't really want to teach us anything worth knowing, like the Constitution.

  • The god of this world really "shows his cards" by going after this brave, freedom-loving man. "For the love of money is the root of all evil." "...we wrestle against spiritual wickedness in HIGH places...".

  • I should have bought a bunch of Ron Paul dollar's when they came out

  • This video portrays the Federal Reserve in a rather nebulous fashion which fails to plainly state that the Federal Reserve is a private cartel which has been illegally granted the exclusive contract to produce so called US currency and fractionalize it and exploit the American public which is largely ignorant of the true nature of this monstrous deception which was orchestrated in 1913. Go Bernard-- we know you are innocent and will defeat the Department of Injustice!

  • Yeah real money for real Americans, I have some and want more. Better get you some soon.
