So what IS the playstation 3 eye? And how does it work? Does it project your image onto the choice of playstation games so the character with your projected image is the main character instead of the existing character supplied by the game? If that is correct, I want IT!

lol... its a USB video cam like a web camera it's used for alot of different things and maybe one day to paste your face on to the games character.. just type ps3 eye into the video search and check out some of the things you can do with it.

I can see that the resolution even in outdoor is pretty good! Could you test PS3 in cloudy days? how was it? I am thinking to apply it in a outdoor computer vision application...

as you do already know it loses quality as it loses light! but cloudy days wont bother it because it still has plenty of light. its really dark rooms thats the problem even then you can still see something

Yes i have everything for PS3 that uses the EYE, Eye Create is the top of the list, the update last night 2.1 has a voice changer feature, i had a video chat and could not stop laughing. . .

it was on a time lapse where it take a photo every 5 seconds and that frame is equal to 1 milli second so its about 25 minutes of recording time 3 minutes to export and upload to utube hehehe
