But yes i understand how people became used to the old JJ and the switch up threw them off
Well, I liked this tv show but don't understand one thing. This tv series was ok but still boring. They cancelled so many great Sci-Fi shows (The 4400, Invasion, Jake 2.0, TekWar, RoboCop The Series, Blade The Series, Total Recall 2070, The Invisible Man, Firefly, Dark Skies....) while this one lasted all 6 seasons. Now I hope Torchwood and Fringe will get more seasons

I kind of thought Johnny's dad was still alive. I have season two on DVD and I just watched that episode with the dolly and the gas leak and they certainly wrote it as if they were gonna have the dad stil alive in another episode.
Planning on watching all Dead Zone episodes again as I'm expecting a package today with The Dead Zone Complete Series Collection. Can't wait to see it all again.

In season 1 ep.8 netherworld Johnny experiences a life where his accident never happened. He's married to Sarah and has 2 children. It doesn't mention his daughters name in the episode but It makes me think Hope is Johns daughter.
The other thing is, in season 5 ep. 65 Revelations John asks Purdy if he used his mom like Clara for the money, Purdy says no. As John walks away a sign on ground says Purdy Grain Eugene, Oregon indicating his names an alias in a con
He died after Johnny called him and told him that Father Purty was going to die in his church because the man that was calling the shots for the Vice President went over to Purdy's church to talk and than kill him. Instead a candle fell and caught on fire and Walt got there just in time to save the preacher however a big boulder fell on Walt and killed him. The bad man that was controlling the Vice President was also killed. Good show.
the first five seasons of this show were awesome, did they change writers for the sixth ? because it was crap and killing Walt just made it worse. I think the show would have continued if it were not for the writing and killing off of Walt.
this show was great. Needs a tv movie to wrap up the loose ends. I love that last moment, which is the first time that J.J. calls Johnny Dad, so sweet!!!
I miss this show. It's one of my all-time favorites. An ending wouldn't be hard. It would have to be simple and not ignore past story lines. I've always wanted Future John back. It would've been nice to see our John do a fast forward in how he becomes FJ, then come back in time saying that John needs to save Walt at a certain point and allow Purdy's madness to extend to the point where Purdy picks up the gun to try to stop Stillson.
After all Purdy is responsible for, it should be him. Not J.
I could see a scene where Purdy tries to kill Stillson but misses because of Stillson holding up Hope as a human shield. Purdy could get shot like John in the movie. Purdy would be the instrument that sets things in motion yet not be akiller in the end. Walt can have a future as a politician.

Michael Anthony Hall made this show a hit. I hope they let him do one more season to wrap this all up. They left it hangin'. Please Mr. Hall, one more?

The answer to Armagendon time frame wasn't answered. Not sure what you mean by future Johhny. Sherriff, I don't think there was a storyline about her, unless you mean Walt. He was killed in a fire while saving Rev. Purdy. This was the first time it was shown that J.J. started having visions.
Either way we got ripped off!! I hope for some type of ending, movies, mini series, or another channel picks it up.
Well future Johnny, when John was having visions of this guy in all black from the future after armagedon, and there was a John Smith of the future there, and so was JJ, but they were older! I know John threw his cane in the lake to end the visions, but what happened witht hem?

And I think it's a little odd that you can see at a point of season 6 a photo of Bannerman and "old" JJ, who looks older than Connor Price.
