i feel bad for them but at the same time it is partly their own fault...lots of UAW workers like to sit around for half the day not working at all...which drives up the cost to produced vehicles...and the fact that american vehicles are sub-par compared to foreign ones.

The second to last line kinda doesn't make sense. From what i gathered this guy never knew how much he had until he was fired and lost everything. so the last lines should some up what the rest of the song says.

maybe for the last two lines, "I knew I've never had much, but I need your crutch, because I've landed here..."
