My experience with religion is largely negative...not just Christianity. E.g., I have quite developed ideas about spirituality, but it is exactly because of those ideas that I fully reject religion. I was tracking through this whole great documentary just fine , till the speaker had to go and mention the "lord" did this or the "lord" did that - which almost completely derailed my esteem for this program or it's credibility - but , I recovered , by listening to Carl Jung at the end !
In the interest of knowledge , let's ditch the words god or lord and just go with intelligent design- ok?

@rolynstone48 I understand where you coming from, but here's what i really dont get. Why do most people always feel the need to leave god out of everything? Whats the difference for you between the words "god" or "lord" or "father" and "intelligent design"? You see there are many words to describe one and the same thing. Some people just use different names, but at the end of the day they're all pointing towards the very same. An intelligent designer behind the universe. Take care my friend.

The term "lord" or "god" implies subserviance !
We are conditioned by the churches to see our lives in those terms , in which they can squelch our Divine potential , as we are always trying to please a god that is always represented as jealous and quite blood thirsty !
The position of "father" is one that never changes and therefore we are always the child who must please and be in obedience !
I think intelligent design is more imaginative than that !

@rolynstone48 The picture is even bigger than that, and can't be explained in short. I do not support churches, everyone who goes to churches is blindly worshipping lets say "something". They're sending out their energies to this "something", i know it sounds weird but will be explained in upcoming parts with proper evidence, can't explain it in comments. I agree on the obedience thingy, however a few rules are nesseccary like "do not kill", "lie", "or harm anyone or anything", wouldn't u agree?

@rolynstone48 I know it sounds crazy and maybe i'll lose my credibility saying this, but there's a monstrous conspiracy going on that involves everything you can think of. There's a shitload of lies out there misleading and dividing the masses. I for example do not obey god or the creator, but rather follow his rules, thats what i call it. Lets get this straight, the 10 commandments for example do NOT limit you, but rather make you a better human being, wouldnt u agree?

When I ditched Christianity, one of the first sensations I experienced was that the morales I thought were from the teachings of the churches , were still abiding in me - almost as if they had always been there, regardless of the religion that I was in which revealed to me that my connection to the Divine was because the Divine abided in me all along , and Jesus came down from the throne of worship to reveal to me , that we are one , and a better human being !

@jabe55 Hmm...I think there needs to be differentiation between atheism and non-religious. E.g., I have quite developed ideas about spirituality, but it is exactly because of those ideas that I fully reject religion. Also, some scientists (Einstein included) are absolutely convinced of the metaphysical aspect of existence...they just reject the biblical god...which I do too...as do billions of others with other religions or no religion at all. There are even scientists in this video.

This forgotten knowledge is beyond comprehension and hasn't been decoded yet by mainstream archaeologists. However a small handful of people (the illuminati) had access to this superior knowledge and they're using it against us.
