Im not vegan but Im not against a vegan lifestyle, it doesnt hurt anyone else and is actually probably a postive choice in the scheme of things. But I do want the eggs that I eat and meat I eat to be from animals who are treated humanily and are healthy. Before whites came to the counrty natives would eat meat but use everything and would say a prayer for the animal to thank its sacrifice. Now animals are tortured and ground in with a number of cancer cause chemicals makin our country obese.
@asas2jh Do you mean the price per egg for compassion, health and environmental superiority? In Australia, it is about 10-20 cents. Easily affordable. The price issue is ridiculous. Humans are so spoilt, we expect everything for nothing. If you can't pay the little extra, then don't eat eggs out of good conscience.
@cerberus40 It always been the issue - cost. I simple asked as I could not see how much higher it would be. Yes, the cost after looking at it is not much higher.
Vegans are so silly ...lol Chain of life...So you dont like it ?? So What ! I might not like something you do ??? But I tend to mine my own business ...Maybe you should practice that??? You Brain is weak !....But dont stress hurry and eat some meat before another brain cell dies....lol Gezz.......
It is great to see your chickens having a healthy, very happy, and completely natural life. That's the way it should be for all animals! I hope other farmers follow you in this way. God Bless You David = )
Hi David! It's so wonderful to see this; keep up the great work, I love it! :-)
Totally awesome to see your chickens having a healthy, very happy, and completely natural life! - That's the way it should be for ALL chickens!
I keep 9 chickens myself, (just for hobby purposes - we're no business/farm or anything ;) ) and they also happily roam around in our large backyard; and daily we have about 7 fresh and very tasteful eggs. =)
i think people who sell caged eggs/chickens should experience it themselves, it makes me feel ill
i'm so happy to see this video

I want to buy a house in the country and grow my own chickens to eat but I would feel bad about killing them.

This is awesome! How do you protect your chickens from the risk of being hunted by predator birds or other hunting animals?

Great work Paul. One questions, what about during the winter, do you bring then to a closed area? I use to live in Rivere MA, great state. Good luck.
