Next game you go to listen to the clever song selections during the game... conference on the mound: "Do You Want To Know A Secret?" ... Dodgers blow a lead: "Pick Yourself Up" (dust yourself off, and start all over again) ... (years ago) a visit to the mound by an opposing coach named Bob Cluck: "The Chicken Dance" ... etc etc
I got to cover Giants @ Dodgers games back in the day and Nancy's playing was one of the highlights of the trip. Thanks Nance I'm glad your still at it. Miss John Ramsey though.
One of these days I will come to LA to see a Dodger game. Our Nancy Faust is very good as well. She's been playing at the White Sox games for years. Nothing says baseball like the smell of hot dogs, the shimmering green grass, and the sound of the organ.
as a giants fan, i despise the dodgers (actually, i despise all the LA teams) but i do like the organ at dodger stadium.... it has that timeless feel, that many ball parks no longer have
Oh! Almost forgot. If you do read these comments..Which I hope you do... You need to watch the speech I made at school. Whenever you guys invite us to your house or whenever you come for the holidays :) Thanks for Cheyenne's B-Day present also. :)
She so good at what she does. You hear she was in the Rose Parade for the Dodger's 50th anniversary? I wish I could have gone :'( Oh, well she loves what she does and she adores her family, friends, and fans. But mainly me :P I'm just joking. I wonder if Grandma really has been reading these comments. If you read the posts before you would know I'm her granddaughter. :) Love Grandma and Go Dodgers!
Who Cares? NOT ME, because they are NOT MINE! (never were, never will be.) and yes, THEY DO SUCK! But I can't say that I blame you for lashing out at me as I failed to clarify my allegiance. Otherwise, I'd say "HOW DARE YOU". Also, I posted earlier on one of your videos stating my love for Nancy Bea and Dodger Stadium (Oh, What I'd give for a Dodger Dog w/ a Minute Maid Frozen Lemonade right now) BTW: That "SF" song I said that got you riled up is in the Nancy Bea CD(Which I Have). GO BLUE!
O.K., I haven't been here in a while and just noticed I did poor job of clarifying who I am or who I root for. FIRST OF ALL........I am a DODGER FAN! Second of all, my mere mention of the name "San Francisco" should, In no way, imply that I am a fan of that garbage dump of a franchise. All this time with school and work, I didn't realize that I had unintentionally led myself to become the victim of verbal friendly fire. GO DODGERS!!
It is great to hear a live organist at a ballpark. I had the pleasure to hear Nancy Bea in person a few years ago on a visit to the West coast. I thing the Dodgers should let her play full time. I can turn on the radio and hear pre recorded music.
Nancy Bea Hefley is my grandma, she may be a good organist for the Dodgers, but to tell you the truth, she isn't very nice all together. Oh, and that isn't a joke. Oh, just to say something meaningful... GO DODGERS!
Nancy is playing a lot more this year. I know they want to be contemporary but hey, we aren't going to a rock concert! Nancy Bea is part of the atmosphere of Dodger Stadium. BTW, don't you kind of feel sorry for Giant fans? We've had great teams and 5 World Series Championships to enjoy and they haven't won anything in their 50 year history in SF.
Nancy Bea is up there with Tommy, Vinny, and Mr. O'Malley when you think of True Blue. When we can't hear her play anymore, the breaks between innings just won't feel the same.

As a lifelong Padres fan who hates the Dodgers with a passion, I must admit I love the organ music at Dodger Stadium.

What's the song for the beat when the Dodgers pitchers strike out an opposing player? It's like "Dun dun dun...duh duh dun dun duh dun duh dun."

Yes she is great, but who can forget Helen Dell, the best organist of all who played in Chavez Ravine.
