@douro20 Yes it is a more advanced easier to use compression ratio changing device than the CS's basic screw in and out affair. It is operated merely by moving a lever up or down, you can see dad operating it in the vid, centre position is decompression to crank a few revs up, then lever down to start, but on the short vid run dad didn't bother to lift the lever for run.

Does this have a knob for compression adjustment like the CS?

Yes, it was on Ebay and I bid on it; unfortunately the bidding went beyond my price range. Watching this I realise I should have bid more!
