@20Edgar08 you need to make sure that the load on your battery can handle it or else one day you'll find your wire harness completely melted and that about a $400 part.

I kinda want those headlights now... I have a 2000 Silverado 1500 with 13,000 miles on it (was 4,700 when I got it in September, no joke)

All GM trucks and SUVs older than 07 (excluding all the smaller trucks and SUVs), unless it was an 07 classic that are z71 are 4x4, have a towing package, fog lights, billstein shocks, and a skid plate package. They added a locking diff. around 03 to the pacakge. Starting in 07 you could order a 2wd z71 which had all the previous options except 4x4.

Is it a true Z71? Or did someone put a Z71 sticker on? My father-in-law has a 2000 true Z71 without the locking diff. I was reading his original window sticker and it said "Off-road package" and it included all the stuff I mentioned before including fog lights. Maybe it's different in different parts of the country, who knows.

yeah mine is a true Z71. And you may be right about the different parts of the country cuz we have tried our locking diffs lol.

yeah man you should defiantly lift it and put some bigger tires and rims on it to..and yeah take of the chrome on the wheel wells and the step bars to. other wise very nice truck and i love those head lights.

Aye, you should get the H.I.D. simulated 9005 and 9006 bulbs for the headlights and the blue 1157 bulbs for the blinkers that light up white. That would really improve the look of the front end.
