  • I bet he's dead now! If he was alive now, he'd probably be about 150 years old! Love this vid!

  • Go Yankees

  • Go Rockies!

  • ¡Wow! This is a great song!!!

Thank you so much for uploaded it!

  • burn disc burn

  • Thank you for posting such a great piece here. My dad was a big fan and full of knowledge of the game. Once I took my dad the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. He was like a walking(and running) dictionary of the game's great players explaining to me the deep history of the great American pastime. Yes, my father (now in heaven) and I are Japanese and we share the love for the game. This is a great product truly Made in America.

  • @mosdef911 Hey, CHILL!

Seriously, man, what is your problem??? Your fighting a war that ended about 60 years ago...come on, now!

And I'm a JEW, for God's Sake, so if any group knows how awful that war was for a group of people...

  • @eijigosen Don't listen to that mosdef911 hater.

I think it's GREAT you and your dad had baseball to share, and I don't care WHERE baseball players come from...just as long as they help my poor New York Mets! (They may be bums, but their MY bums, forever loyal...)

And Japan's given us some great players, Ichiro's a sure-fire Cooperstown man, first ballot, someday...

Doesn't matter WHERE you come from, it's always 1, 2, 3 STRIKES YOU'RE OUT AT THE OLD BALL GAME! :D

  • This song say it all. Please don't ever remove or please consider letting me archive it. Thank you.

  • Couldn't be better. This song is so much better with the verses. Carly Simon does a great version with the verses but I have never seen it posted. Thanks for the post.

  • Who is actually performing this version of it?

  • It Was Published in 1910 I was told

  • 1908

  • This is the best. I love how back in the old days people used to sing like they were English snobs. I want to find other recordings like this, of other songs they featured in Ken Burns' ''Baseball.''

  • i never saw what the point in baseball was, its just grown men hitting a ball with a stick and running, and yes im american

  • the one song that will always bring rival fans together!!!

  • Doubt that but true. The song turned 101 now.

  • It's great that the song is still sung and remembered after a 100 years!
