  • I just bought my Big Baby and I absolutely love it. Great bright sound. Action is wonderful. I can play the thing for hours without my fingers hurting at all. I heard a guy at an open mic play a Taylor and I fell in love with that sound but knew I couldn't afford a "real" Taylor, so I got a Big Baby. Believe me, it's a real guitar.

  • Sounds like shit.

  • such a beautiful sound...love it and want it...5 stars!!!

  • i did a solo with this guitar.. check out my vid.

  • My first acoustic. Love it

  • I love the sound of this guitar!

I'm planning on buying the guitar but I have 2 questions to ask.

    1. Does the guitar have a pick-up?

    2. I love the way it sounds really sharp, is it because you're playing the chords without much bass or does the guitar itself lack on the bass? If it does lack on the bass then I'll definitely buy :)

  • Hi ! Some question, cause there are things that I don't understand : you write "Big Baby/sound check", but under the video, you speak of many guitars (first, you speak of the Expression system of Taylor ; for me, a Big Baby is just an acoustic? After you speak of many Taylors, from the 312 to 916, then you speak of Martin, Alvarez, Guild, Fender,Gibson, Seagull!!!!). Was it a Big Baby demo or you've used more than 1 guitar ?I've worked as guitar seller, so I'm interested.THKS by advance. BYE !

  • @lorenzino1 those are tags, there used to draw people into the video, numnuts

  • @bradabbottmusic :hi ! Don't think that I wanted to criticise the smallest thing, I was just saying things that I've thought when I've seen this video. I got a friend that have a Big Baby, and I've played with it many times, it's a good acoustic guitar, but it wasn't an electric-acoustic guitar, just acoustic, so when someone records it, it depends of the mic that had been used, where it was positionned, etc...But all the tests about guitars are interesting me.THANKS for your answer. BYE !

  • hey. i was just wondering, oh by the way your an amazing guitar player. anyway i was wondering if i can get the chords for the first song. it sounded rich and smooth. thank you.

  • @bobby77239 This is my second channel. Beevarena is not in use. BTW ~ The chords are G , C , Em . D . Just play around with chords ~

  • เว่ออออออออออ จ๊าบ

  • love it (:

  • I have a beginners washburn, i used for a couple of years. today my dad surprised me with a BBT for my birthday! greatest present ever! i LOVE it <3

  • might buy one today, something very special and unique about this guitar, the sound will blow your mind

  • I have a Big Baby, sounds great, will NOT stay in tune though

  • the sound is great, but your studio is very noisy

  • I was at guitar center and played this and immediatly fell in love

  • guitar center is sold out

  • I was close to getting an orgasm. I might get this tomorrow depending if i find another guitar i like. Orgasm FTW

  • Why is this guitar tuned half tone down?

  • @alvaritooooooooo just had to :D

  • @alvaritooooooooo alot of taylor's sounds better half down...as well as the strings get a little stiff! half down also add's bass, which taylors lack unless you get copper or brass bridge pins which are usually 75% wood!

  • @smgman13 Thanks for the response. Very informative

  • @Fearlesss4Life Oh ! its not worth. seriously. Just get the BB and its easier to play on the smaller radius neck and frets :D

  • @Fearlesss4Life Life Hey! I own a 110 and a BB as well. And I gotta say that the only difference you will be paying for the expression system only. The cosmetic details are exactly the same but with a rosette.. So yeah. If youre looking for one with the pickups on it. go for the Taylor

    ~Hasyir~

  • wata hell, this sounds cexy! very big sound

  • so beautiful sounding/looking guitar! wish I could have one

  • @toilabuiducanh YES! I know!! Its an awesome piece of wood put together.. I hope you will get one.. :D

  • the first part that was played sounds like a song called "everything" by the band "stereo fuse"

  • @christainguitarguy Haha! It sure does ..

  • LOL Buy Martin

  • @bluegrasssingingman Overpriced.. but yeah.. They're great guitars.. But I just prefer the looks on taylor guitars

  • @afiqfalif Taylor can't even come close to the Blueridge Br-160 I have. Taylor is so over rated. What a joke, I'll stick with My Martins, and Blueridge.

  • I want to get one sooooo bad

  • @ttaurus393 get it as fast you can!! It's a great product... :D Good luck!

  • Hi again ! I've forgotten to ask you just one question : is the top of the big Baby a solid-top? And is it Spruce that's used? If you could answer just to those two questions, I'll be happy, cause the friend that got the Big Baby that I've tried isn't really interested by all of that. I'm very interested by all of those things since the period I was working as an instrument's seller. Now, I know more about the woods & the sound that they give, the preamps, all...Thks by advance. BYE !

  • @lorenzino1 It has a solid spruce top... laminated nack and sides.. which are sapele... Not my favourite wood though.. but its fine .. it does the job . Thanks for dropping by eh;D

  • @afiqfalif :Hi ! Thanks a lot for your answer, I was almost sure that the top was a solid top, had seen that it was Spruce (generally, I prefer the Cedar...), but didn't know for the back and sides. But anyway, it's a guitar that sounds well. Thanks again, and hope to read you again. BYE !

  • @lorenzino1 Thank you so much for stopping by;D

  • Hi ! I'm stonished by all you've written about the way you've taken the sound of this Big Baby, cause I don't think that Taylor had crafted Big Baby's electric-acoustics guitars. When I've played with a Big Baby, it sounded well, but just acoustic, there were no preamp, and you can't plug it. And I'm stonished by your sound ; perhaps cause of all you've used to record this video. But when it's you that's playing, you don't hear the sound like a listener, for ex. Your video is intresting. BYE !

  • @lorenzino1 HEY! Thanks for the wonderful comment.. Im currently using my other account so yeahh;D

  • sounds great man i'm sold on one of these

  • Sounds great. ^_^

  • @duckfan2 Thanks!:D

  • hey mate wats your interface and mic?

  • @Wili008800 Hey! I use a program called mixcraft and a usb Mic.. Which is the Audio Technica AT2020..

  • what model of Shure Condenser Mic is it ? coz they make like pg27, pg58 e.t.c. what model is it ?

  • @jacklovesmanutd Hey.. I use the AT2020 USB condenser Mic. Great Studio mic..

  • I thought that the first song was every rose has its thorn, hahahahha

  • Do you recomend me a taylor baby?

  • @GNaranjoN A Baby Taylor, no. A Big Baby Taylor, yes.

  • Comment removed

  • @GNaranjoN Definitely!

  • @LTbtch Yeah..It is. Chris Daughtry - Home. Songs are listed in the info bar..

  • nice, are those the original strings on there?

  • @GaryNull Hey ! I am permanently using my other channel.. But anyway.. Yeap.. They are the original strings.. Elixir Strings.. Bold and Bright tone. THANKS!

  • Similar to bmboerjan12's question, but what pickup setup did you use? What type (condenser mic, piezo, or magnetic), and what brand? Or did you just put a mic next to the soundhole? it sounds really good. I recently received this guitar as a wedding gift. And am interested in amplifying it. Thank you.

  • @firewithfire350 Hey! Yes! I actually recorded it acoustic.. I place a ShureSM57 facing directly towards the 12 fret of the guitar.. I edit the songs on MixCraft 5.. Add some reverb to it.

And if you want to amplify it, you can install a piezo pickup.. Thats for you to choose.. For me, I like to use the mic to get the natural sound of the guitar.. :D

  • Great tone!

  • @petterjohnny Thanks!

  • i want one

  • Nice,rich sound,good playing too!

  • @blaster2012 Thank you so much.. im currently using my other channel..

  • @XxJosephChuaxX Hey there.. I currently dont have the tabs.. Sorry. Happy Playin!

  • is this guitar acoustic electric?

  • @bmboerjan12

    Hey~ Thanks for commenting

This isn't an acoustic/electric. You must buy and install manually;D

  • You know what you should do? Put in a bone saddle from Bob Colosi!

  • @DuskY1991 Yeap..

  • @afiqfalif Best 20 bucks I've ever spent I guess (and the other 30 bucks for the bone bridgepins). =D

  • @DuskY1991 Really!? Good for you!

  • Aren't you gonna wait for the 400 series spring LTDs?

  • Yeap... NAMM shows have great prices.

  • big babys rule!!!!!

  • Thanks for this demo. I have a 110ce (which isn't that different from the BBT), and was wondering how Elixir 80/20s would sound.

How's that 81 going for you?

  • Yes. It has been great. Totally love the great quality! Gonna buy a 414CE LTD 2009 soon.

    Cant wait!

  • guessing you like boyce avenue from the crash into me and with you arrangements? haha, but quality video, thanks

  • Yeaah..We love Boyce Avenue..They rock..Thanks for the comments anyway..SUB US!:DD

  • Great recording !!!

  • Thanks!:DSub us!

  • should i buy this or the martin dxm?

  • I think a BBT would be a greater guitar..

  • definitely the big baby taylor

  • Listening to the big baby taylor made me hold up on buying a used 314ce. The sound of this just grabs me more. That and I'm more likely to take the BBT camping or traveling.

  • Thank you, this is great, especially when shopping for taylors. How was this miced and recorded?

  • I used a Shure Condenser mic.And use Mixcraft 4 to record it.I also added some reverb to it.Hope you like it.
