You're exactly right. Maitreya is not God. He has never claimed to be. It is impossible for anyone to be God, just as it's impossible for a raindrop to be the Ocean. We however are all sparks of God, and some demonstrate that divinity more than others. We are all divine in potential.

I'm hearing more and more people claiming Christ is here now. People - don't you realize that is one of the signs the bible warns will mark the end times? When Jesus returns - no one will be able to deny it - everyone will know. Nobody will have to tell anyone else about it. Every eye will see him.
To be sure, many people have claimed to be Christ over time and I agree that the real Christ will be easy to discern from the others. His love, wisdom and power would be recognised on a global scale.
Would He come out of the blue and startle the world with his coming, or would He take a more cautious approach. Would he infringe our freewill, or would He want to be invited forward. Will He be condemned and maligned as occurred 2000 years ago because he didn't come as written in scripture?

I have seen the light patterns reflected from one building to another right here in San Antonio, Texas. They are fantastic and unexplainable. Theosophy teaches that maitreya is the incarnation of jesus christ, so how can he work alongside jesus christ. maitreya may not have claimed to be god but theosophy claims we are all god, we are all fragments of the greater whole. It is a pantheist view of the world witch contradicts what jesus taught. So if maitreya is the second coming of christ or part of the same spiritual hierarchy, then why do there views differ.
Yes TS does state that we are all sparks of god, similar to how droplets of water are part of the ocean. There is still only one God or Father, one Divine Consciousness.
I don't recollect TS saying that Maitreya is an incarnation of JC though. Jesus was a disciple of Maitreya, and for the 3 years between the Baptism and Crucifixion, He allowed Maitreya to work and teach through him thus becoming Jesus Christ.

You're exactly right. Maitreya is not God. He has never claimed to be. It is impossible for anyone to be God, just as it's impossible for a raindrop to be the Ocean. We however are all sparks of God, and some demonstrate that divinity more than others. We are all divine in potential.

I'm hearing more and more people claiming Christ is here now. People - don't you realize that is one of the signs the bible warns will mark the end times? When Jesus returns - no one will be able to deny it - everyone will know. Nobody will have to tell anyone else about it. Every eye will see him.

To be sure, many people have claimed to be Christ over time and I agree that the real Christ will be easy to discern from the others. His love, wisdom and power would be recognised on a global scale.
Would He come out of the blue and startle the world with his coming, or would He take a more cautious approach. Would he infringe our freewill, or would He want to be invited forward. Will He be condemned and maligned as occurred 2000 years ago because he didn't come as written in scripture?

I have seen the light patterns reflected from one building to another right here in San Antonio, Texas. They are fantastic and unexplainable. I think something good is in the works and I do not dismiss the possibility that the Christ Himself could come during my lifetime. After all, He has to come during someone's lifetime, and we are destroying this poor planet day by day. We need Him and we need Him NOW!

Dr. Bilal Phillips talks about recognising him literally as a human being with one eye etc, and warns not to take it symbollically as in the US 1 Dollar Bill or the TV. This is the guy you asked me to watch, so its funny you don't even agree with him. He says the Islamic teachings are so detailed, no one can have any doubt as to who the 'Anti-christ is.
What he says in no way describes Maitreya. If you have indeed done your research, you would agree.

Maitreya may be one of the antichrists, or he may not even be real, who knows. I'm just thankful that Almighty G-d sent His Son for us and on account of that we can be forgiven of our sins. The true Messiah promises to wipe away every tear and rid the world of all former things. Maitreya is obviously not the true Messiah. According to one of his websites, Maitreya will make it possible for everyone to have food and shelter. In contrast, G-d promises His followers will not need food to live.

Fair comment. How will you personally recognise the Christ? Will it be by the fruit he bears? The potent Love He demonstrates. Will he come exactly as the Bible has been translated?
Remember that 2000 years ago He was rejected because he didn't come as was expected ie. as a warrior King to free the Jewish people from Roman bondage.
Incidently, Maitreya has never claimed to be God, but only a messenger of God.
He also does not come alone, Jesus will be working closely alongside Him.

Theosophy teaches that maitreya is the incarnation of jesus christ, so how can he work alongside jesus christ. maitreya may not have claimed to be god but theosophy claims we are all god, we are all fragments of the greater whole. It is a pantheist view of the world witch contradicts what jesus taught. So if maitreya is the second coming of christ or part of the same spiritual hierarchy, then why do there views differ.

Yes TS does state that we are all sparks of god, similar to how droplets of water are part of the ocean. There is still only one God or Father, one Divine Consciousness.
I don't recollect TS saying that Maitreya is an incarnation of JC though. Jesus was a disciple of Maitreya, and for the 3 years between the Baptism and Crucifixion, He allowed Maitreya to work and teach through him thus becoming Jesus Christ.
This is usually how Maitreya works, but this time he comes as Himself.

This is no scam. Maitreya is not God, or claims to be. He is a messenger of God, a very evolved being, who demonstrates a level of divinity we have yet to achieve.
He is our eldest brother and many will recognised Him as the return of their Chirst, or Krishna, the Messiah or the Imam Mahdi, but he is more than that. He is a teacher for all people, an educator in the broadest sense to point the way forward towards a world based on sharing, cooperation and justice.

The Bible speaks of Christ coming in the clouds, with the holy angels, read Jude and 1 thes 4:13-17. To base a doctrine on a single verse is not to be critical. Think for yourself most definetly, but be certain to have the right information. Jesus Christ is the Truth, the Way and the Life. The manner of the Second Coming is this, He will not touch the ground, but the saints will meet Him in heaven. Watch "Total Onslaught" by Walter J Veith and read the book "Truth Matters" by the same.

flanger: If a sinful man think it cruel to torment anyone for any length of time, then you can be sure that a Perfect God of Love thinks the same. I think it is just that humans, that never asked to be born if they choose not to follow God, would not be punished unjustly by an eternity of pain. Christ is merciful, and Christ is above all Love, it is not in His nature, of course many Christians today believe in eternal hellfire, but it is not a doctrine with much support in the Bible.

It is sad and shocking to see faithful christian people disbelieving on the coming of Christ. But i hope they will turn heads to the coming star and recognize Him from their hearts when they get the message. Or in the worst scenario, if they are suffering due to the world crisis, they will ask the governments for better ideas, thus leading to His coming. For their peace of mind, it has to be pointed that Jesus is also at the doors.
