@MaddDogg81 - This video was a baseline stage 1 run on 4psi. The car made 315whp @ 6.5psi, and was eventually running at 9psi & e85 for an estimated 350+
hey man, are you still running stage one sc? because im planning on getting the ct SC and i already have injen sri, vibrant race header w/hfc, mugen exhaust, p2r img and tbs, and flashpro. how many WHP you think i'll be running around 4PSI after tuned. thanks!!
@zhuorong123 - No I'm on stage "XX" 3.0" pulley, e85 fuel, flashpro, etc. More info at my website. Made 315whp @ 6.5psi, and now hitting 9+ psi. At 4psi you're looking at 250ish probably.
so if you go past 4psi it will void the warranty? and how reliable is stage 2. what about boost controllers or a BOV, does supercharger need one? thanks.
@zhuorong123 - Going past the stage1 pulley will voice the supercharger's warranty. Honda warranty will be a different story. They have to prove the supercharger caused the issue.
No you don't need (can't use) a BOV or boost controller with the CT or JR superchargers.
ohhh okay. i don't really care about warranty lol but anyway thanks for the info. i am pretty sure im gonna get a ct sc next pay check probably just stage 1 maybe stage xx later..
No wai dude, my STi is teh fastar and will pwnage your Civic Si. Mine car goes vroo0m, whaaaa...the pshhh!!! with my hella mad tite Blow off valve. itz slammed on Tein S-tech cut springz and the exzhaust has a 8" carbon fiber lookin tip on it! So whatch out beoch, I got teh shitz for sho!
that's it? damn what a shame. don't put some weak ass shit online and embarrass yourself. at least be pulling over 400+whp. not this weak ass 228whp. and if you wanna talk shit my 07Sti pulls 500+whp with 450+tq. so no matter what you do your shit is still a front wheel drive. sorry man you need to get with the times.
@Fast07Sti I'm not embarrassing myself. In fact quite the opposite, you're embarrassing yourself with your lack of respect for other auto-enthusiasts.
This video is 3+ years old. If you took a moment to click the link and read more info, you would find that the car made 320~whp @ 6.5psi and now pushes 10psi on e85 fuel and likely makes upwards of 350whp. Not too shabby for an econobox civic if you ask anyone with half a brain.
Grow up, and tell mommy to buy you a new blow off valve for xmas.
Nice... every take it out to the track? I was thinking of something like this with the regular car (sedan). Just something a little different. Don't need crazy hp, i already have an insane0 car for that.
@07350z - It's fine, the car is over 300whp 200tq now... So it's faster than your '07 350z by several more bus lengths than when I was only making 228/160. kthx
what size pulley to run 6.5psi? stage 1 is like 4-5 psi and gains like 50-60hp if im not mistaken, then stage 2 is around 9-10 psi with a 3.15-3.2" pulley. tuned with flashpro?
@Dart00Z 6.5psi was with the 3.0" pulley (at 5000+ altitude - s/c make less boost here) on a 90° day at the dyno. The car makes around 10psi max on a cooler day, and pulls VERY hard. Tuned with FlashPro and running e85 fuel.
intekra - i noticed that you were blocking out your license plate number, for a split second at 1:44 the blackout goes away and your plate number is completely visable. Wasn't sure if you knew, Nice whip.
@MoPar7055 - Around 175 to the wheels... 228whp is just over 50whp from stock. This is expected from stage 1 @ 4psi. The car made 272whp @ 6psi, and waiting for tuning @ 8psi.
Would you recommend the comptech supercharger over the jackson racing sc? The jackson runs at 10 psi but the comptech stage 1 only runs at 4. I currently have a greddy evo 2 cat back and an injen cai.
The jackson racing site says, "Power up 78 hp" which is obviously bullshit, but the Comptech site only claims 40- 50 hp gain. Also does the comptech come with a hondata ecu flash or a Xede ecu flash. Was your hondata flash included in the 4,000$ that you paid for your sc? The JR SC is only 3,400$.
@CLaSiKaL - CTSC comes with Hondata reflash. The flash was included. You can find the CTSC kit for $3600~ at CorSport. The CTSC Stage 1 is good for 50 additional whp. 225whp~ Stage 2 is good for 250whp~, or more with a good race header.
I make 275whp @ 6psi... I'd like to see the JRSC do that. ;)
Yea i want my car to make that. How much is the stage 2 CTSC ? Is it just an upgrade from the first? Also what headers do you have, Ive been looking for a good set. Thanks, you are very helpful
@CLaSiKaL - The stage 2 with FlashPro from Hondata (It's like a baby K-Pro) will be around $4100 total. Comes with smaller pulley, injectors, flashpro, and SC kit.
I am running an SSR race header.
Search google for 8thcivic and check out the forums. ;)
@bhondaw250 - ...It's probably easier for you to google it. Just type "What is the difference between a turbocharger and a supercharger on a cars engine?" and click "I'm feeling lucky" from google's main page.
hey real quick question.i heard supercharging your car will reduce it's gas mileage.a stock SI should get around 30 mpg on the highway if i'm not mistaken so on 6 psi how much has it affected your gas mileage?
@khmerb0i - I generally don't pay much attention to my gas mileage.
I do know that when I was running the stage 1 kit @ 4psi, I noticed absolutely no decrease in gas mileage. I got around 300 miles to the tank on average, with a good amount of spirited driving.
Currently, @ 6psi with the 650cc injectors I see about 250 miles per tank on average. Sometimes less if I'm REALLY hard on it.
Your civic is fuckin sick. I was thinking of GReddy for a while but after seeing and hearing about the numbers your pullin, well let's just say the only greddy goin on my car is from the cat and back. Comptech FTMFW!
@artinnem - Nothing. They need a warrant to open my hood. I have a receipt, thats about it. It's just a modification like any other. California is a bit different, but stage 1 is CARB exempt so it's fine.
@MaddDogg81 - What do you suggest? Techno/trance is overused, rap is annoying, country sucks, pop is gay, so that leaves us with death metal, or opera and I think 98.7% of the people would prefer the metal over the opera.
lmao. Uphill racing? Haha. If a mustang had the same suspension and was the same weight. The Z would get eaten. Hell, not even the same weight just the same suspension and the 350z would get eaten.
Lesson to valeratj: Tourque gets your wheels moving, HP keeps them moving. Incase you cant figure it out. HP means. Horsepower
Hey I live in parker Like 10 mins from Mac autosport. Got a Brand new Si FA5 last week. Man would love to go on a ride on your Supercharged beast! Sick numbers man. Did you lay down a Dyno sheet for a stock Si at our altitude?
@dasllamas - Original dyno sheet in the link in the description. It made 228whp on Mac's dyno in this video, then after adding a race header it made 251whp on 4psi. I am now at 6psi. Will be dynoing soon. My best guess is somewhere in the neighborhood of 280-300whp.
@mexturbo - The joke is on you mexiturd. A) I do not have an Integra. B) I don't need 300tq to beat cars that do have 300tq C) This video is from November of 2006, my car is quite a bit faster now. Hahaha, I laugh at you!
a) Is the same shit, integra, civic, whatever both has the same rice japanese engine... b) then why the hell are you posting dyno results if you really dont care about torque ? c) ooohhhh I see... now your car has 163ft/lbs of torque !!.... ROFL !!! what a dumbass.
a) It is not the same. I prefer rice instead of beans so I'm happy the Japanese engineered my motor for a purpose. b) I can post whatever I please. Have you seen your videos lately? Who the fuck drag races Lincolns? LOL c) You are the dumbass. Thank you for playing.
a) which purpose is that?, having less torque than any car?, use a SC and realize that you still have not torque? lol b)that lincolng is not mine, however it has more hps without SC than yours, and needless to say torque :) c) someday you will realize that hps sells cars, but torque wins races... have fun.
@mexturbo - With every post you make, your ignorance, stupidity, and hotheadedness becomes incredibly clear. This video is one thing, but can you explain why my torqueless turd honda consistently outperforms cars with more power and twice as much torque? hmmm???
lmao rice over beans. Obviously that guy never heard of power:weight ratio.lol. Hey fuugi. I'm still thinkin about sc my si. Just wonderin. How's your gas mileage now? Can you still pull pretty hard on the highway? Oh and how bout accepting my friend request! lol.
@dynhamik - I still get 20-25+ mpg from what I can tell. It went down a little, but injectors that are twice the size as stock have that effect... I pull VERY hard on the highway. The top of 5th comes in what seems to be seconds. 6th is still an economy/cruise gear, but it's not as bad as it was before.
@dynhamik - We had a few 90°F-100°F days here last year. You will notice a loss in power when it's really really hot outside, but at 4psi, the motor still ran fine, and within proper AFRs.
I'd like to see this car on that game show "passtime" on speed. Just about all the import tuner cars break their axles in the burn out. This one guy took his Evo there, and didn't test it, and he broke his tranny. Same thing with this Civic on another show "pinks". It'd be nice to show those drag race/mopar loving S. guys/gals what a good import tuner can do.
Intekra, what's your 1/4 mile with the Comptech S/C? Do you know your 0-60 or 5-60? had any problems with it? Pros and cons? and finally, do you recommend it?...srry for all the questions, but I'd like to get opinions from ACTUAL owners.
@Chingchi - 1/4 mile times with the stage 1 kit are low 13's @ sea level. Not sure of my 0-60, but it's quick. Pros: power when you need it, but it's a tame little lamb when you don't. (Doesn't boost all the time like some people assume a s/c does)
I would recommend it to anyone who wants reliable, consistant, linear power adder without the hassles of turboing a non-factory-turbo car. Hope that helps!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that sounds like your straight line performance is somewhere around that of a stock STI or EVO IX, if not better. (Probably a lot better if you don't account the lack of traction in the launch when compared to the AWD's). Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks!
@Chingchi - Yes you are correct. I can pull on stock STi and EVO 8s and 9s. I've only ever raced an STi from a stop, and he only got about 1/4 car on me until I caught traction and passed him.
Nice. Congrats on your nicely engineered machine. That instant power delivery must be sublime. Can't believe people with their turbo > S/C comments. After weighting out the pros and cons, your decision makes a hell of a lot of sense: Quality > Quantity and Balance > Peakiness are your priorities in power delivery (which happen to be mine too :P). How's the torque steer in that baby?
@Chingchi - Thanks! Glad you like. Most people on youtube are armchair racers, ricers, or just plain dumb. (as you can tell from many comments here) Torque steer actually is pretty minimal. The LSD may have something to do with that though ;)
Lol dude i like your spunk, I own a nhbp 07 si coupe too, ignore these pansies i bet half of them drive bitch cars and think they know something because a distant friend(someone who doesnt give a shit about them) has a modded car, take it easy
@Voo123 - Haha youtube really brings out some stupid people. Especially dudes that are 90lbs when wet, drive slow stock evos, and try and claim this and that on the internet, but are too scared of the consequenses if they did it in person. lol
@heihachi77 - First off, I'm not a nigger. Second, no one is claiming that this civic is a race car. A Toyota Supra is NOT a race car. I can modify whatever the fuck I please. If you have an issue with that, go fuck yourself. kthxdie
I was just browsing through some of your comments you've recieved on this thread. it's pretty funny really, you do realize you only got 50 PEAK whp right? PEAK hp doesnt win races, power under the curve does, which is why a 3500 pound stock evo that puts down only 30whp more, beat you from a roll. While you were working your way up to your peak HP, I was pushing over 240whp from 5600rpm - 7500rpm
@Sayno86 - What's even funnier is that you are a faggot, have a fat ugly girlfriend, and are pussyhurt because I beat YOU. It's funny how you like to talk shit on youtube, but run away when you see me around town.
Id say juding by your comments, I and anyone else who reads these can tell who really is the pussyhurt one. Anyhow, keep lying to yourself and maybe some of the things you say will be true. . . and if not, hey, at least you got yourself convinced right!
Why dont you go ask troy, the kid in the white wrx, which of us won the race from a roll.
Heavily modded civic, vs BONE STOCK EVO, with "fat ugly" girl ridding shotgun for extra weight and you STILL LOST FROM A FUCKING ROLL.
@Sayno86 - I'm not pussy hurt. Troy also agrees with me, and I'd keep his name out of your mouth as well, since he doesn't like you very much because all you can do is talk shit to everyone about how your car is some kind of holy relic.
My civic is NOT heavily modified. When I raced you I was making what, 230whp CORRECTED for altitude.
The night we met and raced on Parker Rd, I was ahead of you until I let off so you wouldn't smash into the guard rail of the lane that was ending.
@nigga62089 - No the comptech/hondata reflash does not remove VTEC. Are you asking because you don't hear the changeover? In the case of this reflash, the VTEC window starts at 3000rpm.
@rps3287 - No need to be a hater. I paid $3000 for the supercharger for a 50whp gain. It's not embarassing and I spent nowhere near $30k. Who are you to tell me how to spend my money. kthxdie
so you gain PSI off the supercharger from bolt on mods? And you mean to tell me that in 6th, you still dont get hard pull like the rest of the gears? I know the v-tec in 6th is de-activated, but daym.. I was thinkin about trading in my 06' ex for a 08' Si, but if they havent figured that 6th gear v-tec, then i dont know. I would slap this supercharger on as soon as i get the 08' Si. But if its not gonna pull that 6th gear hard, then i dont know.
@Dickotine - 6th gear in this car was not designed for performance. VTEC is not deactivated, but its a long gear so it drops you out of VTEC range when shifting from 5th to 6th. It's not really a problem for me, because 135mph is plenty fast, and I've had no trouble exceeding 155mph in 6th, but at that point safety is more of a concern than VTEC engagement.
tell me, do you hear your v-tec kick on when you make that cross over in 6th gear? When my buddy hit 6000rpm's drafting behind a e320 benz on the autobahn, that high cam never kicked in. Totally de-activated
not bad for a supercharge i mean the civic should of come w/ 197 but that crank so it would be like 170 to the wheels or less you probably gain like 50+ hp thats good
how does it not make sense to make a fwd have power . fwd power and handling = good combination how does it not make sense. u must be white supercharging a honda fucking haole
ok lemme break this down for you guys, cuz you're obviously ignorant and stupid. Turbochargers=more horsepower yes but also have lag. superchargers have make a tad less but dont have lag.
@titenate - Since you are just as stupid as the other 1000 people who don't understand that I made 50whp over stock and NOT fucking 30, I spent less than $70 per whp which isn't that bad.
dude you are dumb sure turbocharged cars kick ass supercharges basically are similar except one is ran by a pulley and the other by exhaust...i say this is a nice setup for this car because one, from an srt owner he doesnt have to deal with TURBO LAG
Actually, yes and no both. A small displacement I4, like this, have very little low-end power, so a blower makes sense for that off-the-line punch. But a roots type supercharger actually reqires (on average) 7HP to turn it and make 1 HP gain. Turbo is still the most efficiant power adders, just have to deal with lag.
do you mean on jus this particular car or all cars? because if you mean in general you are very wrong. For imports i think you can make some power with a supercharger but a turbo is really the way to go.
im not a big fan of the newer civic body styles.. if i had the money i'd love to swap a k20 type r into a hatchback.. but that civic is nice as hell.. imports all the way!
the civic may be able to beat the stock accord..but if u do the same tuning to the accord...over 350 horses..and 3600 lbs aint that bad..its not a race car but its cool to have a grocery getter that will compete with sports cars.. right?
@SrtVenom7327 - Yes my civic can beat a stock accord. Unfortunately for Accord owners, the same level of tuning is not currently available. Who knows if it ever will be. I doubt it, but it would be cool to see. But for the time being, there is no competition.
Also, where do you come up with your fictitious power numbers? 350hp? Really? I highly doubt the Accord will ever see 350hp from 4psi on a non-existant eaton supercharger with other mosd that also don't exist.
I may have used the word "easily" a little freely. Ive raced a Civic Si with similar performance numbers and by 4th he was pullin on me a little. I was still within a car length though.
comp. 4 psi. dc race headers, intake, exhuast, krpo. I love the si bro and great job with your si. But from a dig, i will dust you. Toruqe is a major problem in these si's. You could have another 2-3 psi and i would still have better tourque numbers.
sexy. There is a Greddy turbo RSX on here with 300whp on about 7psi. I want about that much

You cant put the STI and the Si in the same class as each other fast07sti. I'll point out some of the differences since you obviously are special ED.
STI-2.5 liter turbo charged engine with AWD.
SI-2.0 liter N/A FWD.
So why dont you go bother the Evo guys with your fake 500+whp with 450+tq.

The car now makes 100whp over stock at only 6psi tuned on the AEM FI/C.
The car runs strong, and the powerband is very linear.

Oh I see, that's still very nice for such a light car I'm sure it can take down a lot of those prick Camaros and what not.

how many pounds of boost was you running in this video. how you boosting now

@punkrockAP - 4psi in this video without race header. I am now at 6psi with race header making 272whp.

Your civic is fuckin sick. I was thinking of GReddy for a while but after seeing and hearing about the numbers your pullin, well let's just say the only greddy goin on my car is from the cat and back. Comptech FTMFW!
They're still makin them, right?

Thanks alot bro.
artinnem 3 years ago
one more thing. Lets say the cops pull you over for your supercharger what can you show them that shows your supercharger is legal? thanks.
artinnem 3 years ago
@artinnem - Nothing. They need a warrant to open my hood. I have a receipt, thats about it. It's just a modification like any other. California is a bit different, but stage 1 is CARB exempt so it's fine.
intekra 3 years ago
wtf is wonf wit u wat if the cops open my hood shit .. ur a fucking jerk
rey0176 3 years ago
Thanks alot. Have you had any problems with your car after S/Cing?
artinnem 3 years ago
@artinnem - Nope, no mechanical troubles yet. (I'm running higher boost than this video now.)
intekra 3 years ago
Is this street leagl? HAve you had any mechanical problems with your car? Sick car bro props.
artinnem 3 years ago
@artinnem - In this video, it is 100% street legal. Now without a cat, it will not likely pass emissions.

Don't play fucked up heavy metal in these videos
MaddDogg81 3 years ago
@MaddDogg81 - What do you suggest? Techno/trance is overused, rap is annoying, country sucks, pop is gay, so that leaves us with death metal, or opera and I think 98.7% of the people would prefer the metal over the opera.
intekra 3 years ago
Try Iniquity or Broken Hope. The sound is a bit more brutal than what's currently on here.

Hey I live in parker Like 10 mins from Mac autosport. Got a Brand new Si FA5 last week. Man would love to go on a ride on your Supercharged beast! Sick numbers man. Did you lay down a Dyno sheet for a stock Si at our altitude?
dasllamas 3 years ago
@dasllamas - Original dyno sheet in the link in the description. It made 228whp on Mac's dyno in this video, then after adding a race header it made 251whp on 4psi. I am now at 6psi. Will be dynoing soon. My best guess is somewhere in the neighborhood of 280-300whp.

intekra 3 years ago
you asshole !!... 159tq in a supercharged car is a joke !! try to face me when your f%#%& integra shows more than 300tq.
mexturbo 3 years ago
@mexturbo - The joke is on you mexiturd. A) I do not have an Integra. B) I don't need 300tq to beat cars that do have 300tq C) This video is from November of 2006, my car is quite a bit faster now. Hahaha, I laugh at you!
intekra 3 years ago
a) Is the same shit, integra, civic, whatever both has the same rice japanese engine... b) then why the hell are you posting dyno results if you really dont care about torque ? c) ooohhhh I see... now your car has 163ft/lbs of torque !!.... ROFL !!! what a dumbass.
mexturbo 3 years ago
a) It is not the same. I prefer rice instead of beans so I'm happy the Japanese engineered my motor for a purpose. b) I can post whatever I please. Have you seen your videos lately? Who the fuck drag races Lincolns? LOL c) You are the dumbass. Thank you for playing.
intekra 3 years ago
a) which purpose is that?, having less torque than any car?, use a SC and realize that you still have not torque? lol b)that lincolng is not mine, however it has more hps without SC than yours, and needless to say torque :) c) someday you will realize that hps sells cars, but torque wins races... have fun.
mexturbo 3 years ago
@mexturbo - With every post you make, your ignorance, stupidity, and hotheadedness becomes incredibly clear. This video is one thing, but can you explain why my torqueless turd honda consistently outperforms cars with more power and twice as much torque? hmmm???
intekra 3 years ago
lmao rice over beans. Obviously that guy never heard of power:weight ratio.lol. Hey fuugi. I'm still thinkin about sc my si. Just wonderin. How's your gas mileage now? Can you still pull pretty hard on the highway? Oh and how bout accepting my friend request! lol.
dynhamik 3 years ago 2
@dynhamik - I still get 20-25+ mpg from what I can tell. It went down a little, but injectors that are twice the size as stock have that effect... I pull VERY hard on the highway. The top of 5th comes in what seems to be seconds. 6th is still an economy/cruise gear, but it's not as bad as it was before.
intekra 3 years ago
Awesome.I just wonder how its gonna run in the Vegas heat, with no way to cool the air.
dynhamik 3 years ago
@dynhamik - We had a few 90°F-100°F days here last year. You will notice a loss in power when it's really really hot outside, but at 4psi, the motor still ran fine, and within proper AFRs.
intekra 3 years ago
Cool cool. Well I just picked up my Precision SC61 a couple days ago. Hopefully I can get everything on and tuned before the end of the year.
dynhamik 3 years ago
I'd like to see this car on that game show "passtime" on speed. Just about all the import tuner cars break their axles in the burn out. This one guy took his Evo there, and didn't test it, and he broke his tranny. Same thing with this Civic on another show "pinks". It'd be nice to show those drag race/mopar loving S. guys/gals what a good import tuner can do.

VERY NICE VID. I would like a s/c from comptech but i am just wondering do you have the s/c on your stock clutch and flywheel???
rattlesnake6298 3 years ago
@valeratj - One is for boost and one is for NA. Obviously I have the one designed for boost.
The one I have adds a VTEC window from 3000-5800, advances cam angle, retards ignition, and adds some more fuel.
intekra 3 years ago
do u have a reflash and if it is, is it any good.
killasi08 3 years ago
@killasi08 - I have the reflash that Hondata created for the Comptech supercharger. Much different from the NA reflash that is publicly available.
intekra 3 years ago
Intekra, what's your 1/4 mile with the Comptech S/C? Do you know your 0-60 or 5-60? had any problems with it? Pros and cons? and finally, do you recommend it?...srry for all the questions, but I'd like to get opinions from ACTUAL owners.
Chingchi 3 years ago
@Chingchi - 1/4 mile times with the stage 1 kit are low 13's @ sea level. Not sure of my 0-60, but it's quick. Pros: power when you need it, but it's a tame little lamb when you don't. (Doesn't boost all the time like some people assume a s/c does)
I would recommend it to anyone who wants reliable, consistant, linear power adder without the hassles of turboing a non-factory-turbo car. Hope that helps!
intekra 3 years ago
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that sounds like your straight line performance is somewhere around that of a stock STI or EVO IX, if not better. (Probably a lot better if you don't account the lack of traction in the launch when compared to the AWD's). Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks!
Chingchi 3 years ago
@Chingchi - Yes you are correct. I can pull on stock STi and EVO 8s and 9s. I've only ever raced an STi from a stop, and he only got about 1/4 car on me until I caught traction and passed him.
intekra 3 years ago
Chingchi 3 years ago
@Chingchi - Thanks! Glad you like. Most people on youtube are armchair racers, ricers, or just plain dumb. (as you can tell from many comments here) Torque steer actually is pretty minimal. The LSD may have something to do with that though ;)

drdouche1 4 years ago
I was just browsing through some of your comments you've recieved on this thread. it's pretty funny really, you do realize you only got 50 PEAK whp right? PEAK hp doesnt win races, power under the curve does, which is why a 3500 pound stock evo that puts down only 30whp more, beat you from a roll. While you were working your way up to your peak HP, I was pushing over 240whp from 5600rpm - 7500rpm
Sayno86 4 years ago
@Sayno86 - What's even funnier is that you are a faggot, have a fat ugly girlfriend, and are pussyhurt because I beat YOU. It's funny how you like to talk shit on youtube, but run away when you see me around town.
intekra 4 years ago
Id say juding by your comments, I and anyone else who reads these can tell who really is the pussyhurt one. Anyhow, keep lying to yourself and maybe some of the things you say will be true. . . and if not, hey, at least you got yourself convinced right!
Why dont you go ask troy, the kid in the white wrx, which of us won the race from a roll.
Heavily modded civic, vs BONE STOCK EVO, with "fat ugly" girl ridding shotgun for extra weight and you STILL LOST FROM A FUCKING ROLL.
Sayno86 4 years ago
@Sayno86 - I'm not pussy hurt. Troy also agrees with me, and I'd keep his name out of your mouth as well, since he doesn't like you very much because all you can do is talk shit to everyone about how your car is some kind of holy relic.
My civic is NOT heavily modified. When I raced you I was making what, 230whp CORRECTED for altitude.
The night we met and raced on Parker Rd, I was ahead of you until I let off so you wouldn't smash into the guard rail of the lane that was ending.
intekra 3 years ago
@Sayno86 - Additionally, my civic is hardly heavily modded. Intake, exhaust, and a measly 4psi of boost and I can BEAT YOU from a roll.
End of discussion. No one likes you. Move you hick ass back to Nebraska where you belong.
intekra 3 years ago
does hondata take away VTEC?
nigga62089 4 years ago
...no... why would it? infact, with hondata you can tune when you want your vtec to engage.
MichaelBrown86 4 years ago
@MichaelBrown86 - You're partially right. It doesn't remove VTEC, but the hondata reflash for the Si does not allow users/tuners to change anything.
intekra 4 years ago
@nigga62089 - No the comptech/hondata reflash does not remove VTEC. Are you asking because you don't hear the changeover? In the case of this reflash, the VTEC window starts at 3000rpm.

GOT TORQUE? lol obviously not.. and the HP is just as embarassing.. wow thats probably close to $30,000 invested for 228 hp.. not a smart move.
rps3287 4 years ago
@rps3287 - No need to be a hater. I paid $3000 for the supercharger for a 50whp gain. It's not embarassing and I spent nowhere near $30k. Who are you to tell me how to spend my money. kthxdie

i may be wrong but isnt this an 07 Si??
NYFlyPapi914 4 years ago
@NYFlyPapi914 - Almost... It's an 06 Si.
intekra 3 years ago
so you gain PSI off the supercharger from bolt on mods? And you mean to tell me that in 6th, you still dont get hard pull like the rest of the gears? I know the v-tec in 6th is de-activated, but daym.. I was thinkin about trading in my 06' ex for a 08' Si, but if they havent figured that 6th gear v-tec, then i dont know. I would slap this supercharger on as soon as i get the 08' Si. But if its not gonna pull that 6th gear hard, then i dont know.
Dickotine 3 years ago
@Dickotine - 6th gear in this car was not designed for performance. VTEC is not deactivated, but its a long gear so it drops you out of VTEC range when shifting from 5th to 6th. It's not really a problem for me, because 135mph is plenty fast, and I've had no trouble exceeding 155mph in 6th, but at that point safety is more of a concern than VTEC engagement.
intekra 3 years ago
tell me, do you hear your v-tec kick on when you make that cross over in 6th gear? When my buddy hit 6000rpm's drafting behind a e320 benz on the autobahn, that high cam never kicked in. Totally de-activated
Dickotine 3 years ago
not bad for a supercharge i mean the civic should of come w/ 197 but that crank so it would be like 170 to the wheels or less you probably gain like 50+ hp thats good
skylinegtr1001 4 years ago
how does it not make sense to make a fwd have power . fwd power and handling = good combination how does it not make sense. u must be white supercharging a honda fucking haole

intekra 4 years ago
he's right though, for the money u dropped on that kit and everything else, 30hp gain is kinda weak.
titenate 4 years ago
@titenate - Since you are just as stupid as the other 1000 people who don't understand that I made 50whp over stock and NOT fucking 30, I spent less than $70 per whp which isn't that bad.
intekra 4 years ago
dude you are dumb sure turbocharged cars kick ass supercharges basically are similar except one is ran by a pulley and the other by exhaust...i say this is a nice setup for this car because one, from an srt owner he doesnt have to deal with TURBO LAG
bornwithmetallica 4 years ago
Actually, yes and no both. A small displacement I4, like this, have very little low-end power, so a blower makes sense for that off-the-line punch. But a roots type supercharger actually reqires (on average) 7HP to turn it and make 1 HP gain. Turbo is still the most efficiant power adders, just have to deal with lag.
dub85lin 4 years ago
cant get much power out of superchargers
808sponger96744 4 years ago
@808sponger96744 - According to whom? I am getting exactly what I want out of the supercharger.

do you mean on jus this particular car or all cars? because if you mean in general you are very wrong. For imports i think you can make some power with a supercharger but a turbo is really the way to go.

dude u guys dont get it.
the civic may be able to beat the stock accord..but if u do the same tuning to the accord...over 350 horses..and 3600 lbs aint that bad..its not a race car but its cool to have a grocery getter that will compete with sports cars.. right?
SrtVenom7327 4 years ago
@SrtVenom7327 - Yes my civic can beat a stock accord. Unfortunately for Accord owners, the same level of tuning is not currently available. Who knows if it ever will be. I doubt it, but it would be cool to see. But for the time being, there is no competition.
Also, where do you come up with your fictitious power numbers? 350hp? Really? I highly doubt the Accord will ever see 350hp from 4psi on a non-existant eaton supercharger with other mosd that also don't exist.
intekra 4 years ago
My V6 Accord, With CAI, Hondata, Synhetic will NOT "dust" but can easily keep up with this Si.
Anyways, Good work.
dnlgao 4 years ago
@dnlgao - Oh really? Says who? I highly doubt that...
intekra 4 years ago
I may have used the word "easily" a little freely. Ive raced a Civic Si with similar performance numbers and by 4th he was pullin on me a little. I was still within a car length though.
dnlgao 4 years ago
@dnlgao - Similar performance numbers? Was he turbo or supercharged?
intekra 3 years ago
comp. 4 psi. dc race headers, intake, exhuast, krpo. I love the si bro and great job with your si. But from a dig, i will dust you. Toruqe is a major problem in these si's. You could have another 2-3 psi and i would still have better tourque numbers.
