  • Thanks for posting this song for another generation! Marge Barton wrote it and it was cut by several artists. She passed away in 2002. I'm Rick Barton, Marge was my mother

  • This song is a great one! Thanks for uploading it for new generations to hear. It was written by Marge (Marjorie) Barton and was cut by a few artists and is being done "Cover" by lots of folks on tube! Marge passed away in 2002. I'm her son; Rick

  • I heard this on one of my local stations not long ago and am glad to have found it here. Good song.

  • A great and forgotten one. Thanks for the post.

  • What I don't understand is the fact that there are tons and tons of great oldies to play; but most radio stations seem to play the same 20 songs over and over. You have to go to satellite radio or YouTube to get more music!!

  • You're so right. That's what I dislike about radio stations. A lot of younger listeners must think that we didn't have much to listen to in the '60s. They probably assume that My Girl was the only song the Temptations ever recorded!

  • I remember this from 1965--pity Vinton didn't do more stuff like this. Very much in sync with what was going on at the time.

  • I never heard this before, but can't stop playing it - a good message and a killer arrangement plus a chorus with echo!

-I don't get why oldies staions don't play this like all Bobby's other hits(?)

  • Flesh colored.
