I think it would be next to impossible to kill your daughter, leave no evidence that you did this (such as blood on clothes/other areas of the house, etc.), and then be able to sit down and write a detailed 2 and half-page ransom note after all of that has happened. To pull that off, it had to have been planned, which it couldn't have been if Patsy beat her daughter because she found out that she wet the bed. Plus, the foreign DNA found on JonBenet did not belong to anyone in the family.
